CLERICAL ENDOWMENT FUNDOne-year enrollment Cards are now available in the office for donations of $2 or $5. Those enrolled and the person enrolling someone is remember by the Bishop and the CEF Director at a monthly Mass and in the daily prayers and sacrifices of our Diocesan seminarians and the nuns at the monastery of St. Clare in Brenham. Your donations are used to help educate the Diocesan seminarians. Each year a check is present to the Bishop of Austin for this reason. (Proceeds from the sale of the Spiritual Bou-quet enrollment cards). Stop by the office to purchase these cards. Also available $25 cards for perpetual prayers.

Nov. 18-1933rd Sunday in Ordinary TimeWe all want to be considered God’s good and faithful servants and God gives us all we need to be his disciples: Sacraments and their grace, God’s word and a community of faith. What we need to do is to risk pouring out our lives as Jesus did and not clinging to our life and gifts out of fear. We can do this by giving our lives away and learning that so much more is given when we spend ourselves in God’s service to others. If you don’t believe this, ask someone who has served in a ministry to others like the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Communion ministry to the sick, prison ministry, pro-life ministry or any other in your parish. They will report the rich rewards they receive.

Dear parishioners,
Within twelve days, we will celebrate Thanksgiving. This special holiday is a time to express gratitude to God and to our loved ones for their goodness to us. Also, Thanksgiving begins the holiday season. The Church will begin the season of Advent on December 3. With this in mind, this is an excellent time and opportunity to renew our spiritual life by reawakening a spirit of gratitude and of joyful expectation for the celebration of the birth of our Savior. This is best accomplished through prayer.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be loved! Grant, that I may love You ever more generously and be ever ready to sacrifice all to Your love. Through the wound in your Sacred Heart pour your blessings upon my loved ones and me. Forgive my sins and establish your kingdom in my heart. Teach me to transform my actions into acts of love so that after having known and loved the Sacred Heart of Jesus here below, by the light of faith, I may behold him face to face in all his glory and love you in heaven for eternity.

Dentro de doce días, celebraremos el Dia de Acción de Gracias. Este día festivo tan especial es un momento para expresar gratitud a Dios y a nuestros seres queridos por su bondad para con nosotros. También, el Dia de Acción de Gracias comienza la temporada festiva. La Iglesia comienza la temporada de Adviento el 3 de diciembre. Con esto en mente, es un excelente momento y oportunidad para renovar nuestra vida espiritual despertando un espíritu de gratitud y una expectativa alegre de la celebración del nacimiento de nuestro Salvador. Esto se logra mejor a través de la oración.
¡Que el Sagrado Corazón de Jesús sea por siempre venerado! Concédeme, que yo pueda amarte cada vez más abundantemente y estar siempre dispuesto a sacrificarlo todo por Tu amor. A través de la herida de tu Sagrado Corazón vierte tus bendiciones sobre mis seres queridos y sobre mí. Perdona mis pecados y establece Tu reino en mi corazón. Enséñame a transformar mis acciones en actos de amor para que después de haber conocido y amado al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús aquí abajo, por la luz de la fe, yo lo pueda ver cara a cara en toda Su gloria y amarlo en el cielo por la eternidad.

Are you wanting to learn more about our faith? Are you just sitting in your car waiting for your kids to get out of religious education classes? Take that leap of faith because we have something for you. Classes will be offered on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. in English with Anna Lara in the Knights of Columbus room (PAC301) and in Spanish with Art Lara in room 208 in the Education building.
On Sundays, we will have a Spanish session at 9:45 a.m. in room 208 of the Education Building.
This is open to everyone come join us for this year’s Adult Faith Formation Program. Classes will follow the RE calendar for the year. For more information please contact the RE Office.

DCYC - DCYC is the Diocesan Conference for Catholic Youth. This conference is for high schoolers. Registration is now open, come by the RE Office to register or contact Alex Smith for more information.Sponsor-A-Youth! We will be participating in DCYC again this year! Many students would like the opportunity to participate but their families struggle financially. DCYC gives our youth an opportunity to learn about and grow in the Catholic faith with over 2,000 youth throughout the diocese.
Youth will participate in adoration, reconciliation, workshops and mass with the Bishop. Their relationship with Christ will be strength-en and they will return to our parish filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit! This year’s DCYC theme is “Fully Alive”.
Please keep our youth, our ministry team and our volunteers in your prayers as we plan and prepare for this year’s DCYC. Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a youth this year, cost of the event is $215 per participant. If you are interested in sponsoring a youth or making a partial donation or have questions, please contact the Religious Education & Youth Ministry Office at 512-312-2520.

Attention Senior Citizens! The Santa Cruz Knights of Columbus Council 9038 is hosting the Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner on Sunday, December 3rd. As it has been for the past few years, this event is being held at Father Deane Hall. It is time for the Senior Citi-zens of Buda to gather for fellowship and enjoy a little entertainment. Besides a delicious meal and scrumptious dessert (at no charge), there will be music and door prizes. Members of the Knights of Columbus Council 9038 and their wives will begin serving dinner at 5:00PM. This occasion will be more enjoyable and memorable with your presence!
Atención Mayores de Edad! Los Caballeros de Colón, Concilio de Santa Cruz #9038, están organizando la cena anual de Navidad para personas mayores de 65 años de edad, el domingo, 3 de diciembre.
