All PRC members can use PRC Club singles, doubles and pairs anytime the boat is available and the conditions are safe. PRC Club boats are marked on the racks with a light green “sleeve” on one of the rack supports; these boats are also listed in the PRC Reservation Book located by the side door in Bay 1 and can be reserved up to 3 days a week by the same individual by signing the boat out in the Reservation Log. There are two other types of PRC boats: Limited Use (marked by a yellow “sleeve”) and Restricted Use boats (marked by a red “sleeve”). Limited Use boats may be reserved and used by members who are with a coach or after obtaining permission from the PRC Operations Manager. Restricted boats are for use by PRC Competitive Teams during scheduled practices; these boats cannot be reserved nor used outside of practice. PRC Club Sculling Oars are located in the green bin (located at the front of Bay 2-3) and marked with green tape on the shaft OR the oars in the yellow bin (located at the front of Bay 3-4) and marked with yellow tape on the shaft. PRC Competitive Sculling Oars are located in the red bin (located at the front of bay 4-5) and are marked with red tape on the shaft. These oars are to be used by members of the PRC Competitive Teams or individuals with extensive sculling experience and a high degree of proficiency. Pocock Rowing Center New Member Information
