The Isle of Wight has 15 years of heritage in hosting Extreme Sports
Festivals. Big Blue Festival is the breakthrough extreme sports festival in the
UK boasting the UK’s biggest freesports park, sports in land, sea and air –
combined with the party atmosphere you would expect from an Isle of Wight

A Big Screen and Live Stage
A Big Screen will show live coverage from around the Festival, providing sponsor
images and messages to the crowd.
Newton Faulkner to perform on the beach from early evening, and a DJ party with
Rob Da Bank will entertain into the night

20,000 over the 3 days. Confirmation of the
Red Arrows will be a major factor

per day over 3 days (9,000 total)

At Big Blue 2010 a range of around 20 different action sports and activities
will be taking place on LAND, SEA and AIR:
• Professional demonstrations and displays
• Competitions running throughout the weekend
eg South Coast Surfing Championships, British Paddle Board
championships
• PLAY – where the public get involved
Visitors can try each sport on offer, under professional supervision of
course!
