Even though we try to live outside Your Grace, Your Grace continues.

Thank you for Your Grace, Loving God.

Our goal in life is to make ourselves happy. We do not put the needs of others first. Your Grace continues.

Thank you for Your Grace, Loving God.

Your word is clear to us, to love our neighbors as ourselves. But still we ignore the sisterhood and brotherhood of all humankind. Your Grace continues.

Thank you for Your Grace, Loving God.

Our lives would be so simple if only we could fully accept You as Lord of our lives. We continue to try to live without your guidance. Your Grace continues.

Thank you for Your Grace, Loving God.

We boast about our gifts and the things that we have done even though our gifts and our accomplishments are through Your Grace.

Thank you for Your Grace, Loving God.

Through Your Grace you have made plans for us and we sometimes ignore those plans for what we want.

Thank you for Your Grace, Loving God.

You are rich in mercy, and You love us so much that You gave us Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, so that we may have new life through Him. Thank you for Your Grace, Loving God.

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and

earth.

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by

the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius

Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the

third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and

sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he

shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Give thanks with a grateful heart; Give thanks to the Holy One; Give thanks because we’re given Jesus Christ, the Son.

Stand, as you are able, and greet one another saying: “The peace of Christ be with you.”

Respond by saying: “And also with you.”

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, World without end. Amen, Amen.

(Continue your personal prayer of confession in silence)

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.

This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.

I’ve got peace like a river, in-a my soul. Amen! Amen!

(The congregation may follow the tune and text on page 647 of Glory to God.)

And now let the weak say, “We are strong”; Let the poor say, “We are rich Because of what the Lord has done for us!” Give thanks. Give thanks.
