ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY

Page 3: Present simple 3

Present Simple

añadimos -s al verbo principal, ponemos Do y Does.

Do (do, does, don’t, doesn’t).

Page 5: Present simple 3

Most teenagers have got some indoor hobbies. For example, they play computer games or they watch TV. Pop music and films are also very popular. Indoor hobbies are fun, but they don’t provide any physical exercise, so it’s good to do some outdoor activities. Mountain biking is an ideal outdoor activity. It’s easy to learn, it’s good exercise and it’s a sport that both boys and girls can do.

Mountain biking is more fun when you’re in a group. There are lots of clubs for teenagers. Some of the clubs have websites on the Internet – for example, Luis Valtueña’s club in Madrid. His website gives a lot of interesting information about mountain bikes, routes and stunts.

Most mountain bikers enjoy exploring the countryside, but there are also races. “I like races,” says Vincent Cheng, a member of Luis Valtueña’s club. “But I only do them for variety. I don’t do them every week.”

Good mountain bikes are usually expensive. Also, it’s very important to buy a helmet and other special clothing to protect the hands, knees and elbows. But when you’ve got this basic equipment, mountain biking doesn’t cost a lot of money. You just need time and space – and a good map!
