Hotelbeds is the world´s leading bedbank. The company’s proprietary technology helps providers of travel services distribute their offering to travel sellers globally via an easy-to-use, advanced technology platform that increases reach, revenue and yield for both the provider and the seller.
Operating under the Hotelbeds brand in the wholesale channel and the Bedsonline brand in the travel agents channel, the company connects over 60,000 travel intermediaries across more than 140 source markets globally with travel providers in over 185 countries representing more than 170,000 hotels,

JOAN VILÀEXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Joan Vilà is the Executive Chairman of Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank.
The role of Hotelbeds in the accommodation market is to connect two very fragmented ends. On one side the hotels and on the other the B2C intermediaries (tour operators, travel agencies, OTAs, airlines, etc.). Hotelbeds provides efficient capillary distribution for hotels, whilst offering B2C intermediaries hotel availability at competitive rates.
Joan has led Hotelbeds from its creation in 2001 and for 13 years was also a Group Management Board member of First Choice Holidays PLC and TUI Travel PLC.
Holding an MBA from IESE, Joan has also completed the Senior Executive Program at Columbia Business School. He is Vice-Chairman of the JSF Travel & Tourism School, partnered by IESE and Wharton.
Hotelbeds was acquired in September 2016 by Cinven and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
CARLOS MUÑOZMANAGING DIRECTOR, BEDBANK
Carlos Muñoz is Bedbank Managing Director at Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank. Carlos started his career in the Aeronautical and Telecommunication industries, with positions at Retevisión, BT and GMV.
He has been in the travel industry since 1999 when he joined the Barceló Travel Group.

SAM TURNERWHOLESALE SALES & SOURCING DIRECTOR
Sam Turner is the Wholesale Sales & Sourcing Director at Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank.
He started his career in finance within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) operating across a range of financial disciplines over a 3 year period before joining Britannia Airways, in late 2000 that subsequently became part of TUI AG. Sam went on to hold various senior finance roles within the mainstream sector of TUI culmination in his responsibility as Director of Finance, Performance and Planning following the creation of TUI Travel PLC in 2007.
In 2008, he joined The Accommodation & Destinations business of TUI Travel PLC as Finance Director- now Hotelbeds - assuming responsibility for the global finance & strategy functions. Since December 2014, Sam became Sales Director at Hotelbeds being responsible for leading the customer acquisition & account management processes across all channels through the leadership of the global sales teams.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
ANDRÉS GARCÍA-TENORIOFINANCE & STRATEGY DIRECTOR
Andrés is Finance & Strategy Director of Hotelbeds. He started his professional career at PwC in 1988 as an auditor. In 1995 he joined Allied Domecq and held several senior finance management positions in Spain, the US and UK, before joining Hotelbeds in 2004. Andrés has led the finance function as Finance Director of Hotelbeds now for more than 13 years, forming part of the new leadership team following both Tourico Holidays and GTA joining the Group in 2017.
He holds a degree in economics from Málaga University, a Masters for Executives (PDD) from IESE (Madrid), an Executive Program (CEDE) from INSEAD (Fontainebleau) and a Global High Performance Leadership program from IMD (Lausanne). Additionally, he has been recognized as one of the top 100 Finance Directors in Spain on several occasions since 2009 and in 2016 he has been included in the top 25 most innovative CFOs in Spain by the Spanish economic newspaper Expansión.

ALISTAIR RODGERRETAIL TRAVEL AGENTS DIRECTOR AT HOTELBEDS
Alistair is the Director of Retail Travel Agents at Hotelbeds. Alistair has spent his entire career in the travel industry, the first 18 years of which were spent working for hotel chains including Swallow Hotels, Marriott International and finally in Hilton Hotels, where he held a number of senior commercial roles during his 10 year tenure. He went on to work for lastminute.com, before becoming CEO of Holiday Autos and most recently completing a four year period as Chief Commercial and Operating Officer for the global LateRooms Group before joining Hotelbeds in July 2017.
PETER MANSOURPRODUCT MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR AT HOTELBEDS
Peter Mansour is Product Management Director at Hotelbeds. Peter brings more than 20 years of experience in mobile, local, and online marketing technology. Previously he held a variety of positions at Microsoft Corporation and subsequently founded Sproqit Technologies Inc., a mobile applications platform, which was acquired by Infowave in 2006. Subsequently he worked at eBay Inc., as Vice President Shipping and Marketing Technologies and then as the GM of the Seattle office, before becoming President of Infospace and then HowStuffworks, successfully reversing a three-year downward trend, before recently joining Hotelbeds.
