ARMANI HOTEL DUBAI OPEN TO PUBLIC ON APRIL 27
(Dubai, UAE, April 26, 2010) The world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa is ready to open Armani Hotel Dubai developed by Armani Hotels & Resorts on April 27 2010. Emaar Properties and Giorgio Armani coordinated for the first time to launch the world’s first Armani Hotel.
Emaar Properties post pond the opening from April 21 to April 27 2010. Thousands of passengers could not make it, including Giorgio Armani due to the volcanic eruption under the Icelandic glacier resulting in cancellation of International Flights.
Armani Hotel Dubai presents luxury and hospitality where all the items are personally designed by global fashion icon, Giorgio Armani. The delay in opening did not concern him as he expresses his joy and quotes: "My ambition for Armani Hotel Dubai – the first of a collection of Armani hotels, resorts and residences that will soon circle the world – is to celebrate comfort and style by providing the highest standards of design, hospitality and service."
By coordinating two organizations into one project, Armani Hotel Dubai sets a new standard to offer comfort and warmth at one destination and soon to a global scale. Chairman of Emaar Properties, Mr. Mohamed Alabbar said, "The hotel brings together two global competencies – the project management capabilities of Emaar and the superior aesthetics defined by Giorgio Armani. Armani Hotel Dubai will further also establish Burj Khalifa as one of the world's unmatched luxury destinations."
Armani Hotel Dubai covers more than 269,000 sq ft and occupies the ground floor, levels 1 to 8 and levels 38 and 39 of Burj Khalifa. Providing 160 rooms, Armani Hotel Dubai will consist of eight unique restaurants where dining will be an unforgettable experience. Guests can enjoy various services provided at Armani Hotel Dubai. The first Armani/SPA offers treatment rooms, thermal suites, a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool. Moreover, Armani Hotel Dubai will offer Armani/Dolci, a delicious chocolates store, a florist by the name Armani/Fiori and an Armani/Galleria carrying couture accessories.
After Armani Hotel Dubai’s opening tomorrow, Armani Hotel & Resorts is expected to expand by launching more hotels around the world including Armani Hotel Milano located in Italy, Armani Resort in Marrakech, Morocco and Armani Residences villas in Marassi, Egypt.
