Mere Golf and Country Club - new 5* spa tees up for success….

Teeing off in the New Year is the latest in a number of 5 star projects to be

designed and project managed by Spa Development consultants - Spa Creators.

The Mere Golf Resort and Spa will be opening its doors in January following a

five million development project converting the stable block and walled gardens

to create the North West’s most exclusive 5 star luxury destination spa and

health club.

This is the first phase of a fifteen million project, including a 98 bed 5 star hotel

due for opening in 2012. Alistair Johnson director of Spa Creators said “We were

delighted to be invited to work on this prestigious development. We enjoyed

working with the team at The Mere and the Spa’s immaculate finish is a credit to Mark Boler (CEO) and his team who have

shown a real passion to create something very special’.

Spa Creators have worked with the project team over the last 12 months to develop a spa offering which will be

unsurpassed in the area. The spa will have 6 spacious and extremely well equipped treatment rooms including a luxurious

VIP Suite to complete face and body treatments using the Carita and Aromatherapy Associates products.

Unique features include: a Rasul mud room located in one of the turrets to provide signature treatments: a hamam for body

envelopments and scrub treatments located in the thermal suite. In this area there is also salt grotto, sauna, aroma steam,

caldarium, ice fountain and experience showers supplied by Cheshire Wellness. A deep relax room within the treatment

zone and a dedicated men’s relaxation area all add to the guest experience.

There is a 20 meter pool for lap swimming and Vitality pool for relaxation. Poolside there are dry and mosaic heated

loungers for relaxation.

The changing rooms are equipped to the highest of standards with additional

thermal cabins including sauna and steam.

A health suite equipped with the latest state of the art Technogym equipment will

allow for 1250 members offering a studio for classes, spinning and one to one

personal training using Power Plate equipment.

The spa has a fantastic food and beverage offering in the spa lounge for guests

and members to enjoy healthy light meals and drinks or a glass of champagne

for the spa.

The Spa boutique completes the guest journey with manicure and pedicure

stations including a Fish pedicure. In addition to Makeup and hair styling guests

can seek advice from one of the skincare experts using the latest skin analysis

machine from Carita
