Hammersons Senior Project Manager Neil Crawford said “we are really excited to be bringing Primark to both the Queensgate Shopping Centre and Peterborough city centre”. Waldeck have worked closely with Hammerson plc. over several years with the redevelopment and restructuring of Queensgate to modify the retail space into a modern and contemporary environment. Several existing retail units are being remodelled to form one large unit over two floors and Waldeck has been appointed by Hammerson to undertake the civil and structural engineering work on the project from the feasibility through to the detailed design stage. “Drawing on their inherent knowledge of the shopping centre, coupled with the first rate service they provide, Waldeck was the natural choice as engineers for this large and complex cut and carve project.” Comments Neil Crawford Senior Project Engineer for Hammersons.
