Dear Parents/Carers

This is my last Newsletter in my short time at Wanguri Primary School. It has been the greatest pleasure for me to be here bridging a gap until your new Principal arrives. This is a wonderful school. Your new Principal, Gail Quigley, comes directly from a primary school in Queensland. She has sought a new Principalship in Darwin as her husband has been transferred here. The panel that selected her was headed by the Executive Director and the District Director. Your School Council Chair, Andrew Green, sat on the panel on your behalf and teacher, Guy Glover, represented school staff. Pam and I met Gail when she came to look at the school prior to her interview. We found her to be very professional and friendly.
