1. Each lot is offered for direct sale as priced – this is not an auction so no bidding will take

2. All items are priced and sold in US dollars.

3. All lots are sold on a first-come first-serve basis.

4. Please quote the reference number(s) and corresponding price(s) for any items of interest

and email to: [email protected]. Alternatively, requests can be mailed to the address

below.

5. Confirmation of availability and a corresponding invoice will be sent within two (2) days of

receipt of any requests.

6. Additional charge for Postage and shipping will be added and detailed in the invoice. Sales

over $100 will be sent via registered mail or DHL courier or as agreed with the buyer.

7. Payment options: Paypal; US, UK or Australian Cheque; or Direct Deposit to US, UK or

Australian bank (details will be provided with invoice).

8. NVK Stamps warrants all sales and will accept returns (no questions asked) within two

weeks of receipt of the lots and will refund the purchase price and associated postage costs.

Where notified within two (2) weeks of the purchase time, extended returns are allowed on

items being forwarded for expertising (where expertising costs are to be borne by the buyer).

PTS2-01. Scott #10. 5 Cuartos stamp B/4, used with Bulacan Official Cancel, split across stamps horizontally. Block shows four types of this issue. Heavy thin on reverse just showing through on top left stamp. Some manuscript (pen) markings present. Lovely show piece and scarce official usage.

PTS2-14. Scott #Y2. 2c Correos Issue, Left Marginal B/16 with four complete strikes of 'Presidencia de Kingwa / Bulacan' circular cancels (Kingwa is now known as Plaridel). Comprising four complete blocks of four. Bottom right stamp with bottom corner ding and minor ding on top left of first stamp, otherwise generally fine condition. A magnificent piece and a great addition to any Aguinaldo Collection.

Soldier’s Letter with Rectangular Boxed ‘US Government Employee Mail’ handstamp on top. Sender was attached to the Macabebe Scouts. Rare cover with scarce markings. January 13, 1900 receiving backstamp. Some minor toning noted on front for accuracy.

PTS2-26. 2c Guerrilla Postal Service Stamp in full sheet of 20 with four intact margins. Mint (OG, NH). Very fresh colour and pristine overall condition. A rare opportunity to acquire one of the gems of the US Period.

PTS2-27. 2c Guerrilla Postal Service Cover addressed to El Paso, Texas, USA. Stamp tied with crisp 'Posted in the Free Philippines / 21 December 1943 / M.D. No. 10 / Mindanao Guerrilla Area' oval cancel in purples. Additional purple oval 'Tenth Military Dist / Censored / Free Philippines' handstamp below. Small boxed handstamp on bottom left stating 'We Depend Upon Gen. MacArthur’s Pledge to Return'. Very clean for this issue, with a few other covers not as fine. Very scarce and only a few covers known to exist.

PTS2-28. Inbound Prisoner of War Cover from Marlborough, Wiltshire, England, addressed to Miss Winnie Chun, British Civilian Internee at Santo Tomas Camp. With 31 January 1944 Machine Cancel and Customs Examiner tape on left. Letter included with Japanese Censor chop. Clean cover and generally fine condition.

PTS2-29. Manila Internment Camp Punched Meal Ticket dated July 1944 (No. 542). Used by Winifred Chun (same correspondent to PTS2-28 above). With handstamp of Santa Catalina Hospital on reverse and by the Business Manager. Fine condition for this given it was a card used daily for a full month. Scarce and very seldom offered. Great historical piece.
