Production facilities: In order to produce a professional advert, there are various facilities that will be required to do this. These facilities can be found in independent production houses or radio studios. A recording studio is a facility for recording and mixing sound. They can be used to record musicians, voice over artists for advertisements or dialogue replacement in film, television or animation. In a recording studio, there is the live room, which is where the instrumentalists and vocalists perform, and the control room, where the sound engineers and sometimes thee producers are based. In the control room, the sound engineers operate specialised software to manipulate and route the sound for analogue and digital recording. Below is an example of a radio studio, with dual monitors and a sound desk to help manipulate and edit audio. Also, behind the glass is a sound proof room which voice artists will be able to record in without any other audio interference. This software consists of computers, sound boards and sometimes there are even instruments that can be used such as guitars and drums, but these are kept in a separate room called an isolation booth, as it keeps the sounds from being audible to the microphones that are catching other sounds and so it doesn’t interfere.

Production facilities:

In order to produce a professional advert, there are various facilities that will be required to do this.

Microphones will also be found in recording studios and there are many different designs of micropones, as well as digital recording workstations, which is where the soundboard is usually based

They use particular software such as audacity, reaper and adobe audition to edit recordings.Reaper is a digital audio workstation that allows you to edit, process and mix audio.

Audacity allows you to record live studio, record computer playback, convert tapes and records into digital recordings or cd’s, edit and save in many different formats and change the speed or pitch of a recording and add other sound effects.

Adobe audition allows you to use a sound remover, advanced sound design, audio finesse, enhanced multitrack editing, automatic speech alignment and has many other features.
