The oating concrete pier system we provide to our clients has beenrefned to include a polyethylene oatation pontoon with an integrated toptray. The top tray has been designed to receive a poured concrete walkingsurace. The walking surace can be customized with the clients choiceo color, stamped pattern, texture, or logo. The oatation pontoon is flledwith expanded polystyrene which is steamed inside the pontoon resultingin a solid block o high density oam. This process creates the oundationor a stable, durable walking surace that requires minimal maintenance.

The trough system is primarily used or utilities and is easily accessedby removal o the aluminum and Trex deck cover. This design allowsor quick installation and easy inspection.

The Pro-Float System is adaptable to all marina applications and isonly limited by the imagination. Our exclusive patented modular designgives customers the exibility to create any dock confguration, andthe ootprint can be reconfgured as uture needs and desires changeThe cost o a concrete oating pier system is clearly outweighed by itsversatility, longevity and low maintenance requirements.

EFS recognizes the unique needs o each customers project and hasadopted a sales initiative to meet those needs. Whether the projecrequires Pro-Float System sections, technical assistance or completeassembly and installation o a concrete oating pier system, EFS canmake it happen.

At predetermined intervals, sleeves oPVC are installed in the concrete rib area toact as conduits or the galvanized steelthru-rods. All thru-rods are threaddiameter, hot dipped galvanized steel. All steelin accordance with ASTMA-307. Hot dippedgalvanized in accordance with ASTMA-123.

The oats are tied together through a combination owood whalers and galvanized steel thru-rod. Marinegrade wooden whalers are doubled and overlappedwith galvanized timber rings between the compressedlumber every twelve inches. All lumber is SouthernYellow Pine, No1 grade. All lumber is pressure treatedwith Chromate Copper Arsenate (C.C.A.) to one poundretention, conorming to AWPA standards.

    Floatation Pontoon

Our oat is a rotationally molded polyethylene plastic tub with a patented

tray top area designed to receive re-enorced concrete walking surace. A

polyethylene plastic shell encasing a closed cell EPS (expanded polystyrene)

core. The polyethylene is specially treated to resist UV deterioration. The EPS

oam core has a weight o .05-1.10 lb. per cubic t. conorming to ASTM

standard specifcation C-578. The EPS oam has a water absorption rate

maximum o only three percent by volume as tested by ASTM method C-272.
