TheHumanServicesCareerProgramisacommunityapproachtoeducatingouryouthandyoungadults.Itaimstoputintopracticethebeliefthatittakesa“communitytoraiseachild”.
OurgoalistocreateareciprocallearningenvironmentwhereCSS,UFVandelementarystudentsarelearningtogetherthroughrelevant,engagingreallifeexperiences.Thedesignoftheprogramallowsstudentstogrowintheirknowledge,establishmeaningfulrelationships,impactthelivesofothersandbetransformedbybeingamentorwithyoungerstudents
Throughthisprogramweaimtopromoteschoolandcommunityengagement,provideenrichmentopportunites,increasedschoolcompletionratesforbothhighschoolanduniversitystudentsandincreasetransitionratestopostsecondaryschool.
