StatusStatus
Emphasis on coordination across RMNCH programs through an overarching steering committee
RMNCH Fund established (UNFPA) to provide catalytic and incremental funding to address gaps
Strategy and Coordination Team established (hosted by UNICEF) to support Steering Committee1 and manage the Fund
11 countries will complete plans in July (Dakar, 2-4 July)
1) The Steering Committee will initially be made up of senior representatives from Nigeria, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Senegal, Tanzania, US, UK, Canada, Sweden, Norway, France, UNFPA, UNICEF, WHO, World Bank, Gates Foundation, CHAI and PMNCH. The UN Foundation and the Executive Office of the Secretary-General will participate as observers.
