Split planning up into lots of plans
For each one, simply ask these 6 questions:
Why...?
Who...?
What...?
Where...?
When...?
How...?
Planning is actually more than just errr.. planning - 6. A project manager doesn't need to answer any of those
questions
Or even understand those answers
"All they do is":
Communicate those answers between different planning teams (the 'who')
Make sure everything is being done!
...That's "all they do!"
