Caminar Latino, Inc.Project Teddy Bear Proyecto Osito

Every time we receive new youth at Caminar Latino, they get a Caminar Latino teddy bear! This teddy bear’s purpose is to

provide the youth with something tangible to remember their experiences and friends at Caminar Latino. The teddy bears help

the youth while they are participating with us and especially when they are no longer attending Caminar Latino.

“When you are sad you can hug it or squeeze it to take out

everything you have inside.”- 8-12 year old

Cada vez que llega una niña o niño nuevo a Caminar Latino, reciben un osito de peluche. En esta forma, cada pequeño

participante tiene una forma tangible de recordar sus experiencias y amigos en Caminar Latino. El osito les ayuda a las niñas y

niños durante su participación en el programa y muy especialmente cuando dejan de venir a Caminar Latino.
