The area faces acute water shortage and ground water situation is also precarious.

The only sustainable solution is to supply drinking water from Mahi Anas dam, which

has sufficient water and for which source certification has been done by Water

Resources Department. Water from this dam will be brought by cross country pipelines

to Rajasamand district and en-route areas will also be benefitted.

Project Location From Banswara to Rajasamand via en-route rural area of Pratapgarh, Udaipur,

Chittorgarh.

Land Details Shall be done at the time of DPR preparation, but as major land is not required and

cross country underground pipe line is of linear nature, land is generally not a problem

for water supply projects.

Barmer district has the biggest oil field in India and proximity to borders makes the area

strategically important. IGNP (Indira Gandhi Nahar Pariyojana), has sufficient water

present system is adequate only up to year 2016 and a new parallel transmission

system is to be laid. Water from this canal will be brought by cross country pipelines to

targeted areas.

route areas will also be benefitted.

Bisalpur Jaipur Water Supply Project (Stage 2)


Project Description

The project is envisaged to bring 1020 MLD water from Bisalpur dam to meet critical

drinking water needs of Jaipur city and rural areas of Jaipur. In the first stage,

infrastructure, with assistance from ADB & JICA, has been developed for 600 MLD

water sufficient to meet water needs till 2016. It is imperative to develop remaining

infrastructure so that additional 450 MLD water can be brought to Jaipur. Linkage of

water from Bisalpur dam on Banas river is the envisaged solution for the aforesaid

purpose


Land Details No major land is required. PHED has already laid part of the system and has land

rights for the balance work proposed now.

Multi Village Piped Supply for districts of Dholpur, Bharatpur and Alwar


Project Description

The areas of Dholpur and Bharatpur are close to NCR and Alwar falls in the NCR

region. It also has a big DMIC (Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor) node at Bhiwadi. To

address acute water concerns in these areas, water linkage through cross country

pipelines from Chambal river is the proposed solution.

Project Location From Chambal river in Dholpur district to target areas of Dholpur, Bharatpur and Alwar

district.

Land Details Land identification has largely been done through consultancy awarded to PDCOR.

Waste Water Recycle Plant at Jaipur


Project Description

There is acute water problem in the project area, where there is no assured surface

water source and ground water situation is also precarious. Industrial growth is not

possible without availability of water to industries and drinking water requirement. To

resolve the scarcity of water in the state, Government of Rajasthan has taken steps to

re-use recycled water for industrial needs, agriculture needs and in residential areas by

dual piping system to cater their water demand for purposes other than drinking and

cooking. In this regard it has been decided to reuse outflow water from 125 MLD

capacities by establishing Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) at Delawas, Jaipur.

Investor would be responsible to design, build, own, operate and maintain the waste

water plant

It is proposed that recycled water from STP will be used as follows.
