Ordering InstructionsStep 1: Part and Application AnalysisUse the Nozzle and Tip Selection Guides found at the end of this catalog to determine the appropriate nozzle and gating for your application

Step 2: System LayoutTurn to the page which corresponds to your required mold layout
Step 3: Hot Runner ConfigurationEnter the requested information to specify nozzle configuration, pitch layout, and plate sizing (for hot runnercustomers), using the PRONTO Checker on the right to determine PRONTO eligibility.
Note: PRONTO system specifications must fall within the provided range. Specifications outside of these ranges may be handled through our custom systems. Please contact Husky with questions
Step 4: PRONTO Feature Selection Confirm that available machine, interface, clamping, and utility options are acceptable. Requests outside of these guidelines are not available with PRONTO.
Step 5: PRONTO Quoting Call, email or fax the completed form to Husky to receive your manifold or hot runner system quote.

PRONTO Checker Guide
Step 1: Nozzle LengthNozzle length must be within the minimum and maximum available lengths.
Step 2: Sprue Clearance and Manifold SizeAll drops must be located outside of the sprue clearance area and inside the maximum drop area
Step 3: PitchDrops must meet the minimum drop to drop spacing requirements as listed in the table.
Step 4: PRONTO Plate Size (HR Only)
Plate size must meet the given requirements for a given manifold size and layout
Step 5: PRONTO OptionsRefer to specified pages to view available PRONTO options. PRONTO system specifications must be chosen from available options in order to remain PRONTO eligible.

Electrical Zone Estimation
Step 1: Multiple the overall height and width of your manifold pitch area, AxB. If your manifold has an inline pattern, use either the A or B dimension.
Step 2: Find the correct row for your manifold drop layout
Step 3: Using the Value determined in step 1, find the column corresponding to the next highest value.
For example, for a 6 drop system with a manifold pitch area of 100,000 mm2, the next highest value is 115,804 mm2, which falls under scenario 2. The corresponding electrical zone requirement would be 10 zones, found under scenario 2.

A: Unfortunately not. PRONTO hot runner and manifold systems are not available with any features that would typically be communicated through detailed feature
Q: Which applications require a pre-sale application review?
A: The following items may still allow you to fit within PRONTO, following a pre-sale application review.
• ‘Review Required’ or No Information in Application Guidelines • Higher Throughput as per the Guidelines • High Viscosity Resins - PPO, PSU, PPSU, PEI, all fractional Melt and Extrusion Grade Resins (MFI < 3) - If (L/t > 100) or (Part Thickness < 1 mm): PMMA, PC, POM • Low part weight applications (part weight < 5g) for heat sensitive resins • Low part weight applications (part weight < 1g) for all others • Any non-automotive application with filled resin • Any application with pressure greater than 26,000 psi • Any application with mold temp greater than 150 oC or melt temp greater than 315 oC • Any application with < 5 sec cycle times
