I am very happy and proud to have been associated with EYELEVEL. To have been a key team member in the process of getting EYELEVEL off the ground and helping to define and communicate its meaning to a very broad audience has been one of the great experiences and accomplishments of my career. Once that we expanded EYELEVEL’s sales and marketing efforts as a Global Team effort and EYELEVEL became part of InnerWorkings (INWK, NASDAQ) vast network and resources, it was time for me to focus the work of Productz on other projects and partners.

Michael Jordan Store – Six month concept, strategy, design and presentation extended earlier foundational innovations (see Mobius

below) and award winning identity work on the Jordan Brand forward to inform the first stand alone Jordan stores and create a

foundation and a roadmap for future Jordan Brand interpretations.

Nike Shop in Shops: created a bold new concept for Big Box sporting good stores that shares Nikes heart & soul while assuring

customer attention, assuring belief and Brand loyalty.

Brand Imaging/ Design:

• Wells Fargo:

Guided the Brand integration of Wells Fargo and Norwest, redesigning flagship branches and bringing customer friendly retail

banking to Wells Fargo.

• Billabong: Designed Billabongs Flagship store at The Camp, introducing experience retail to outdoor marketplace. Features: Cyber

Cafe, Half Pipe and Board Pool.

• The Detroit Lions: Engage George Plimpton to assist in creating a compelling brand story design for the Lions feature store opening

at FORD Stadium.

• Converse: Graphic interpretation, store and fixture design. Merging virtual illustration with photographic representation of Target

Store Environments.

• Worked closely with Apple, Quiksilver, QVC, Converse, Yahoo, Michael Stars, Patagonia, AOL /Time Warner and REI on Branding, Stores

and Fixtures.

Results:

Mobius grew from a garage to an industry leader in twenty years. We created very successful long-term relationships at a local level and with

Fortune 500 Companies, including Nike, Levi Strauss & Co., Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne, Wells Fargo, Apple, The NFL, Hewlett Packard, Benetton,

Patagonia and adidas. Mobius was renowned for it’s design excellence, it’s mechanical and material innovations and it’s integrated design,

engineering and manufacturing process. Notable projects include:

• Nike: 15 year partnership

1) Ground breaking historical exhibits at Show: foundational brand work that continues to inform Nike Stores, retail and product presentation

and Nikes products themselves.

2) Interior and exterior Brand Story telling, photomurals, historical case work at Show, Retail and on Campus, presentations and retail

environments 1984 – 1992.

3) Mobius brand interpretation for Nike lead the industry and continuously pushed, re-invented and employed cutting edge technologies.

As one example, the 120 screen video environment for Nike required completely redesigning video switching technology. I had to work very

hard to convince Nike that the application would be visible to the 50,000 people who passed through the hallways of the Mobius designed

and engineered , 50,000 sf ft exhibit. Would it justify the 1.2 million dollar investment (Editing and software only, equipment rented) for only

a four day presentation? It was a phenomenal success. We extended the video technologies along with many other graphic, industrial and

architectural innovations to Niketowns over next three years. Nike leaped from a half billion to a two and a half billion dollar company during

that three year period.

• Levi Strauss and Company: 10 year partnership resulted in 100 million dollars in revenue for shop in shop and store creation and a deep

understanding about what true partnership means. A good example: co-creation with Levi of Levi Labs, a 15,000sq. ft. facility that housed all

shop offerings, collateral and point of purchase materials and exhibits. Corporate Executives, Brand Managers, Agency Personnel, Designers,

Photographers and Manufacturers came together in an open forum to create the most integrated and cost effective presentations and

environments in the retail industry.

• Benetton Sportsystems: identity, media platform, showrooms and the orchestration of its grand opening event in its 5th Avenue

Manhattan Headquarters.

With over four hundred employees, 200,000 sq ft of manufacturing and offices and showrooms in New York, San Francisco and Portland, OR.,

Mobius had a marvelous run for 25 years on the cutting edge of retail, exhibition and showroom design/build. In the beginning and in the end,

its all about people: Mobius hired well but more importantly, supported it’s people., creating the most powerful and effective teams in the

retail marketplace..
