Participants: Regular Member of GPYC Theme: Role of the youth towards World Peace and Reunification of Korea
Date: 11~20 August 2012
Venue: Seoul, Korea / Suwon, GyeongGi-Do
Subscription: USD 500$(Total cost, excluding airfare)
Partnership: Local governments, universities, etc.
Pre-Program
Unification project 2012, a global college students contest
Eligibility GPYC members, targeted attendees of IYE
Contest Theme
Innovative projects that will spread the wish and urgency for reunification
Schedule 1) From May 1, form teams from GPYC members and IYE participants 2) Carry out project, up till July 31 3) Submit results/final report by August 5 (powerpoint) 4) Presentation and award ceremony on August 12, (during IYE)
Awards Grand Prize (1 team) USD 1,500 Gold (2 teams) USD 1,000 Silver (3 teams) USD 500 Encouragement Award (Rest of the teams that are not awarded as above) Pres

Benefits For the grand prize and gold prize winning teams, up to 3 people in each team will receive support / coverage of IYE fee
* All countries participating in IYE must carry out this contest as a pre-project.
