Pray for Mukok Balu and hisson Luke Mukok that as leadersof the church in Samban areathey will remain healthy andencouraged about the work.

Pray for Joe Wangi and StevenDakamut, that they wouldbecome the faithful dedicatedchurch leaders God would want

them to be.

Pray for all the church leadersin the language group to learnto read the vernacularScriptures well and to use themin their preaching and teaching.

Pray for co-translator MasoLeko, his wife Dani, and theirchildren. Pray for protectionfor them fi-om the Evil One.Praise God for the Maso'stalents and his faithfulness tothe task of translation.

A Tribute to Our Forwarding AgentsHow do you say thank you to a certain couple who has

represented you and worked for you, without pay, for overnineteen years? The only way I can think of is to say, "Welldone, good and faithful servants." I am sure there is a greatreward awaiting you.

Bonita's sister Susan Dunlap and her husband Dale haveserN'ed as our forwarding agents since before we began ourtranslation ministry in Papua New Guinea in 1977. They havedone an excellent job keeping records, sending out receipts,representing us, and always looking out for our best interests.It has always been reassuring to know they were "taking careof business" for us when we could not do it for ourselvesbecause we were thousands of miles away. Susan has recentlychanged positions and is now an assistant principal in anelementary school in Knoxville. Obviously, this job requiresmore of her time. We knew that she would need to give up theresponsibilities she had for our work. We are just thankful thatshe and Dale continued to do the work for so long. We dowant to say thank you through this letter, and publiclyacknowledge them for their sacrificial efforts over the years.Thank you, Susan and Dale.

introduce our new fonvard-ing agents to all of you.Bruce and Mary Arm Graffhave been friends andsupporters for many years.Bruce was in the youthgroup at the First ChristianChurch in Murphysboro,Illinois, when John wasyouth minister there from1973-74. He and Maiy Annattended Johnson BibleCollege from 1973-77. Theyserved in Coyle, Oklahoma,at the First Christian Churchafter they graduated fromcollege. That was the firstchurch where Bonita and I

served when we were first married. We know many of thesame people. Some of the churches they have served over theyears have supported us since we have been involved in Bibletranslation. They themselves have supported us on a personalbasis as well.

When we sent out one of our letters of thanks to ourcontributors last year and shared that we were needing to finda new person to do the forwarding agent job, Mary Ann calledright away. She has always had a love for missions and saidthat just a few weeks before there had been anothermissionary in the area that had been looking for a forwardingagent and she thought, "I would really like to do somethinglike that, but I don't know this family well." Then, in just afew days, she received our letter and felt that maybe this waswhat God wanted her to do. She and we prayed about it forseveral weeks. When they came to Johnson Bible College forHomecoming in February, she decided to accept theresponsibility and took the PBT forwarding agent applicationform home with her. She filled out the form for both herselfand Bruce and arranged for the three references for each ofthem to \vrite letters and then sent everything in the nextweek. (You didn't know it was such a big deal to be a PBTforwarding agent, did you?) Everything went well and she andBruce were accepted, and then we all started the process ofchanging banks, etc. We found, as we knew would be thecase, that all the paper work takes time to complete, especiallygoing from state to state. However, most of the bookkeepingitems were transferred by May, with just a few loose ends thatwere taken care of by June. You will note the new address inthe heading of our newsletter. Thanks to all of you whoprayed with us about the filling of this important position. Wefeel very blessed to have such wonderful people to be a partof our team.

Back Home AgainWe are feeling rather like MacArthur these days. "We have

retumed." As many times as we've done this, it is stillamazing that one day we are in America, and after a ride in acouple of jets, we are right back in PNG. I guess it is theclosest to "beaming up and down" that we will everexperience. Furlough is quickly relegating itself into thedream category. "Were we really there a whole year? Werewe really there?" Familiar sights, sounds, and yes, even smellsare quickly re-establishing themselves into our consciousminds. Do we miss America? Yes. Do we miss our family inAmerica? Do we ever! You can put your arm around us
