Mechanix ORHD

Oil and gas drilling operations expose rig hands to numerous on-site hazards

ranging from blunt force impact and pinching injuries to severe abrasions and

lacerations. The ORHD® is designed to combat impact injuries and enhance gripping

power during drilling operations. Dual density Thermal Plastic Rubber (TPR)

safeguards the knuckles and metacarpals from forceful impact, while dual density

TPR with dedicated flex points provide critical pinch-point protection to the tip of

each finger. 2mm EVA foam lies beneath the hard density TPR knuckle guard to help

disperse blows to the top of the hand, while the extended slip-on cuff protects the

wrist. The palm is reinforced with durable synthetic leather and PVC bonded dots

for durable gripping power in slippery conditions.

High-risk red pull-tab allows the glove to be secured to person.

PSC TenActiv Dexterity Cut 5 Glove

PSC introduced the Dexterity TenActiv Cut 5 glove

from Superior Canada in 2015 as there was a need

for an impact glove that would enable compliance

at a lower cost. Widely used by contractors where

impact protection gloves are mandated in work

zones.


A variety of composite-knit yarns are blended together to create this glove,

including high-strength composite filament fiber for unbeatable cut resistance and

dexterity. All TenActiv™ gloves feature lint-free, continuous filament yarn that is

stronger than steel on an equal-weight basis. This style features a black nitrile palm

coat that is foamed to increase your grip in oil by displacing oils on surfaces, while

the thermoplastic rubber (TPR) backing reduces back-of-hand injuries and increases

impact protection, all without impeding flexibility or dexterity. Nitrile withstands
