The PT-200 and PT-300 are multi-purpose prime

movers for forestry, agricultural and construction

applications. Their key feature is their suitability

Our steel tracked carriers a designed and

heavy-duty applications, to the electronic

One of the main advantages of PT-200 and

PT-300 is the extremely low ground pressure

obtained. The oscillating undercarriage ensures,

in fact, a wide contact surface resulting in

excellent vehicle stability and extraordinarily low

ground pressure. This allows PT-200 and

PT-300 to keep an excellent mobility even on

swampy and extremely difficult terrain,

made inaccessible by mud and snow.

• the lowest level of vibrations felt when the

Great application flexibility in any operating

condition is ensured by the possibility of fitting

different front attachments with various tool

options on PT-200 and PT-300. All front

attachments, made by FAE, are designed

to meet our customers’ specific requirements

and are specifically designed to fit our carriers.

The rotor is designed so when grinding or milling

only one tooth is making contact with

the wooden debris enabling a smoother and

more regular operation making its work

more effective than if carried out by competitors’

designs, resulting in fewer vibrations and less

wear and tear on the components.

> PT-200 can be fitted with the forestry mulcher;

FAE 200/U (with single transmission) suitable

for medium to heavy duty applications and

available in two models with different width

sizes: 175 cm (69 inches) for the 200/U-140

model or 235 cm (93 inches) for the 200/U-200

model, for a working width of 140 cm (55

inches) and 200 cm (79 inches) respectively. It is

equipped with a Sauer Danfoss 160 cc motor.

The rotor has a diameter of 50 cm (20 inches)

while the grinding diameter reaches up to 30 cm

(12 inches).


fae and PrimeTech: a winning combination!

> PT-300 can also be fi tted with the forestry

tiller FAE 200/U in the more powerful versions

200/-U-200 and 200/U-225 (with double

transmission), with a width of 240 cm (94

inches) and 260 cm (102 inches) respectively,

for a working width of 206 cm (81 inches) and

230 cm (90 inches). They are equipped with

Sauer Danfoss 110 cc motors. The rotor has a

diameter of 50 cm (20 inches) while the

grinding diameter reaches up to 35 cm

(14 inches).

Depending on the conditions of the ground on

which the work must be carried out and with no

need to change the rotor, the FAE 200/U

forestry mulcher can be equipped with C-type

teeth (for medium/ heavy duty cutting

applications), VIPER style teeth (equipped with a

planner style replaceable tip is particularly useful

for grinding trees and shrubs with rather hard

and compact grains) or the STCL type tooth

(ideal for mulching functions in stony areas); the

mechanical or hydraulic pushing frame is

optional on all PT models.

The refinement of PrimeTech’s style is also

reflected in the choice of the options

which integrate the standard equipment of

PT-200 and PT-300.

The available options of our vehicles include

the following:

• Rear winch with 5,6 t pulling power: allows the

machine to get itself out of a critical situation;

• Rear view camera, protected by a Lexan

Margard(r) shield, with automatic ignition in

reverse gear, automatically shown on the main

LCD display;

• GPS GARMIN satellite system: used to define

the machine’s position, but also to trace a

linear work path;

• Lights for side and rear illumination of the work

area, protected by Lexan Margard(r) shields;

• Reversible fan: the fan reverses the air flow

direction; this can be reversed automatically;

This is especially important in summer or when

the air is dusty, to clean the radiator;

• Pre-heating system with a 10 Kw burner which

self feeds from the diesel tank and pre-heats

diesel engine and hydraulic oil to avoid

any cold-start issues even at extremely cold

temperature. Deferred activation of up to 7

days can be programmed by means of a digital

timer;

• Heated and air suspended driver’s seat;

• Air-shut-off system which immediately shuts

off fuel and air to the engine if the rpm rises to

a dangerous level;

• Protective grid preventing the intrusion of

objects of up to 90 mm (3 inches) diameter.

in complete safety, by drawing advantage from

cutting-edge technologies in order to prevent

accidents or malfunctions while protecting the

operator.

In particular, PT-200 and PT-300 are fitted with:

• Air shut off system (optional) which

immediately and automatically shuts off fuel

and air to the engine if the rpm rises and goes

out of control: an important protection

guarantee, e.g. when working in gas fields;

• Lexan Margard(r) cabin windshields, made in

highly shock-proof and scratch resistant

material;

• Protective grid (optional) preventing the

intrusion of objects of up to 90 mm (3 inches)

diameter;

• Double emergency exit on top and at the side

of the cabin;

• ROPS/FOPS - approved;

• Roll-bar, which protects the operator’s cabin

and the vehicle from falling branches and

trees;

• Rear camera (optional) for viewing the area

behind the vehicle;
