Their experience has won them the authority to dial emergency services direct, which could allow them to arrive quicker than dialling 999. State of the art on screen GPS mapping technology and a full audio recording of the incident provides irrefutable evidence of the attack and also allows the ARC to monitor the situation closely and formulate the appropriate response. Community Safety Manager at Hampshire County Council, Paul Hayes, is delighted that the system will give his staff peace of mind whilst carrying out their duties: “ The welfare of council staff is of paramount importance to Hampshire County Council and the Qualitel lone worker system provides the perfect solution to this.It will ensure that our staff can carry out their duties effectively without fear of intimidation or physical or verbal assault.” Qualitel Managing Director Mike Ridgway is pleased to be implementing the solution within Hampshire County Council: “ We are obviously delighted that Hampshire County Council has made the decision to integrate our lone worker safety solution. The product is a leader in its field and will provide huge peace of mind to the council’s lone workers. We are certain that other councils could reap the same benefits.”

SOLUTION REVIEW: WORKMOBILE APPLICATION

Qualitel has signed a deal to distribute the WorkMobile application. Thesolution offers a low cost solution to providing off-site forms for firmswhich require paperwork following a job.

The forms can be custom built to fit with any requirements and can includesuch fields as signature capture and picture attachment. These can be builteither by the customer or in partnership with ourselves.

The simple premise is that the form can be accessed on a smart phone, tabletor PDA and filled out quickly and simply on site. Not only can the filled formsthen be sent direct back to headquarters, but it also reduces unnecessarymaterial costs and administration costs for data entry.

The electronic forms also speed up jobs and help to keep field workerson the road rather than filling out time consuming paperwork in the office.

The system can integrate with any office back system or CRM, so paperworkcan never go missing and any discrepancies can be investigated quickly andeasily. The solution is stored directly on the device, so even in areas with a lowsignal, the forms will be stored and then sent when data connectivity has beenrestored.

Because of its simple premise, the application does not require any licensecosts and is essentially a pay as you go solution. It is the ideal solution forcompanies looking to improve their efficiency and because of its pay as you goformat, it is accessible to all companies no matter how small.
