THE INSTITUTE NEWS LETTER

QIS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (AUTONOMOUS) (Approved by AICTE, Permanently Affiliated to JNTUK, Kakinada - Accredited by NBA - UGC Recognized)

Vengamukkapalem, ONGOLE - 523 272. Ph: 08592-281023, Cell: 9246419542, Fax : 281323

At the outset, I am proud and would like to express my happiness for getting Autonomous status.Getting Autonomous status is highly challenging for any institute. It is the collective efforts of all the teaching and nonteaching faculty of the institute. I wish the faculty to continue the efforts to make the institution as aknowledge hub which possessthe global standards

I am indeed happy to announce that QISCET has got an Autonomous status with the support of the management and collective efforts of all the committed HODs, teaching and non teaching faculty. Faculty is the real crux for the institute and the success of the institute depends on faculty. Thanks to all faculty members, students and supportive Management in proving ourselves as an independent body.

As part of the College culture, various technical workshops and seminars have been organized in the institution. Seminars on “Psychology”, “Digital Manufacturing” and “Fiber Optics and Super Conducting Materials” and Workshop on “Database Designing and Application” were organized effectively. Social awareness is essential for the youth. The College NSS Body is very active and conducted numerous activities such as Sanitation Awareness Program for school students, Blood Donation campaigns, and so on. The Institute is moving ahead with certain parameters to attain quality. We hope the best to come in future!

Bringing Grace to Education

,

Any satisfactory system of education should aim at a balanced growth of the individual and insist on both knowledge and wisdom.

It should not only train the intellect but bring grace in to the heart of man.

Wisdom is more easily gained through study of literature, philosophy and religion.

If we do not have a general philosophy or attitude of life, our minds will be confused, and we will suffer from greed, anxiety and defection.

Mental slums are more dangerous to mankind than material slums -Dr.S.Radhakrishna
