A QR code is a 2-D barcode, that can be scanned by a Smartphone

camera, and transfer information.

Standard Bar Codes store about 20 digits, QR Codes store up to a

max of 4296 characters

The information encoded can be

Contact information

Email address

Geo location

Phone number

Text

( In GSA Auctions, a user could scan the QR code for an Auction Item, and then be able to follow that auction via the Saved l ink. )
