Bay.

Each report will cover residential sales only; this includes houses, land, units and townhouses. You may note that in some suburbs there are sales excluded – we are advised by RP Data that these are sales that are classified as not “normal sales’ i.e. to a family member or sales where the prices have yet to be declared by the sales person or ratified by the Department of Natural Mines and Resources.

Welcome to my latest Quarterly Market Report for the

4655 postcode and the first for 2015.

Before we get in to the nitty gritty of the facts and

figures, it is with great pleasure to announce that after

eight successful years, I have finally started my own real

estate agency here in Hervey Bay. I am delighted to

align myself to One Agency – a forward thinking

nationwide brand that are growing very quickly.

It will be the same great service, same down to earth

approach with a fresher, brighter feel!

The Spring Quarter (Oct-Dec 2014) was excellent for

Hervey Bay and sales activity showed a marked upswing

in volume. Units saw a marked increase in Median Sale

price but this can no doubt be put down to the normal

pattern of out of towners coming in and buying

apartments at Christmas/New Year.

This quarter (Jan – Mar) has seen the market settle back

in to a more normal pattern of steady sales volume and

prices holding pretty steady and in line with last year.
