Happy New Year !!! I am honored to be working with such a strong group of individuals with the goal of helping the Lake Wales community. With your help the Green & Gold Foundation has continued to provide unprecedented services for our community. As Lake Wales grows, the need for multiple services grows. We will continue with determination to do our part in accommodating required services. Featured Board of Director

Carole Kuehn

Carole Kuehn lives by the philosophy that “Life Is what it Is, but becomes what you make of it.” Born in Detroit, Michigan, Carole attended Madonna University, where she earned a B.S. degree. Carole then continued her education at Wichita State University, where she earned her M.S. degree. After careers as a nursing home administrator and conference/banquet coordinator, Carole moved to Lake Wales with her husband, Norman, where she accepted a position as a newspaper writer/photographer.

Carole and Norm have been married for 21 years and have 5 adult children, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Carole’s passion about community service and volunteering is apparent with her membership and participation in local organizations such as: St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, AAUW, Lake Wales Quilters and the B Street Community Service Center.

Having time to read, travel, cook, write, and be with family is how Carole insists on spending her leisure time - living her philosophy in her daily life.

As well as being a valued Board Member of the Green & Gold Foundation, Carole’s dedication to our community is demonstrated by her tireless fundraising activities.
