Here the shot shows a picture being torn in two. Representing a split between two lovers and friction between characters these are also part of a classic thriller narrative.

The red blood denoted in the shot is a part of thriller iconography- blood its self is associate with thrillers

Here the male is dominering whilst the female looks small and helpless- this is how the femme fatale is usually portrayed in a thriller
