Question 4 How did you use TECHNOLOGIES in

the research and planning, construction and evaluation stages?

PhotoshopPhotoshop was used in the construction of both of my ancillary products to edit images by removing the backgrounds

By using the quick selection tool I was able to remove the green backgrounds of the pictures so that they were more suitable for my ancillary products. The eraser tool was also used for removing trickier parts of the images as well as the zoom tool so that you could clearly see what is being removed

PublisherI used publisher to create both of my ancillary products.

1. I started by clicking on blank page sizes

2. I then selected portrait for my magazine and landscape for my billboard poster

3. I then dragged my selected image to publisher

4. I resized the images so that they filled the page and then added text

5. I then saved my publisher documents as JPEGs so that they could be uploaded

These are the end results and are my final ancillary products which were both produced on Publisher

PowerPointI used PowerPoint twice to create presentations on Australian soaps and magazine covers

1. By clicking in these boxes I am able to add a title and subtitle to my presentation

2. The new slide button allows as many slides as you want to be created

3. By using an image and textboxes I was then able to create both of my PowerPoint's

SlideshareI used slide share so that PowerPoint's would be viewable when placed on my blog

YouTubeAll drafts of my trailer as well as other videos I have created are on YouTube so that they are more accessible

To put the videos on YouTube I exported them from I movie once I had created and finished the videos
