Greetings to you. I am glad that you have chosen this book. It canchange your life completely when you follow what the book says.I know how it feels when you want to do something but don’t getthe result that you desire. This month can very well be the endingpoint of your boring life and starting point of a majestic life.

Hello, my name is Success Oceo and I am from India. I have beenstudying the subject of success and observing successful peoplefor more than 15 plus years. When your mind is strong and insulated against these things inlife, you can have tremendous resources at your disposal all thetime, all day long. But, what happens is these mental resources,

such as, being in a positive state, being inspired, being confident,being focused, being creative, etc. are all destroyed or watereddown by people or your circumstances.

When you don’t let these two factors to destroy your mentalresources get spoiled or undermined, you start to take powerfulaction, as well as feel powerful inside.

It’s always the external variables that are the stimuli. But you canchoose how to respond to them as you wish; which is respondingto them in such a way that you stay in a powerful mental state allday long all days of the year.

Principle 1“A person is limited only by the thoughts that he

You are limited by the thoughts you hold! Your thoughts coloryour mindset and your mindset decides your action steps andyour action steps decide your destiny.

Have you ever observed people in public? They look dull, theywalk in a weak, hopless manner.

Most of the people out there always, always hold thoughts likethese:

1. I am no good.

2. He can do it, but I don’t think I can.

3. I will never become great in my profession.

4. I don’t have it in my genes.

5. Success and riches of all kinds are for those chosen few and Iam not one among them.

6. I can only do little, easy things, not the big projects.

7. I can never win that award.

8. I have never had a big success, so that means I can never haveit now or anytime in my life.

All these thoughts are “low level” thoughts. They dictate whatyou would do or hesitate to do. It is you who choose these kindsof thoughts. So, you are wired by your own thoughts. And youraction springs from how you are wired! And your life unfoldsaccording to the kind of action you take thereof.

Do you get it?

No matter what, from today on start to think only powerfulthoughts. It will feel uncomfortable at first but as you keep

rewiring yourself you will feel comfortable soon. And thinkingpowerful thoughts will become second nature to you.

Okay, now the question is, when this kind of thinking would helpyou best?

Whenever you confront a challenge that can mean abreakthrough, that can mean a big opportunity, that can mean arare chance to get ahead, etc.

When you have rewired yourself by thinking powerful thoughtsand counteract your limiting thoughts, you will start doing biggerthings. You will start taking actions on things that you have beenputting off. The number of challenges you face and overcome willreflect in your life.

Whenever a challenge comes, you don’t try to escape from it,rather you will face it, think of ways to overcome the challenge,you take action for this to happen, and all this time you are – youknow what – changing and growing!

Most people, more than 95% on our planet run away fromchallenges. That’s because of, as the quote says, “Limitingthoughts” that put a limit to what a person can achieve or cannotachieve. These thoughts speak to that person,

“You are only capable of doing this much and nothing more”

You literally have no limits. Actually, the truth is you stopyourself from going at your full speed just because of thesethoughts. Change and replace them with powerful andempowering ones. Your life will be taken to a whole new level.

No matter what, think in terms of possibilities. What will happenat worst: you will fail or you will be embarrassed or maybe both.So what? Get up and keep moving. Shyness will never get anyonethe crown of success.

Principle 2

“Let no feeling of discouragement prey upon you,and in the end you are sure to succeed.”

- Abraham Lincoln

Why did Abraham Lincoln said, “...in the end you will succeed”?He could have said that for one reason: he wanted people tocontinue on their journey and not quit. And when they continue,“in the end (after the discouragement period is over, which can’tstand against a persevering man or woman) if you still continuetaking action, you will succeed.

Why did he warn people not to quit?

Because many do. Most do actually. And only a few carry on inthe middle of heavy discouragements. Success principles andapproaches haven’t changed in the centuries and so are thefailure principles, and quitting is one such principle. Peoplealways fall prey to discouragement. They always quit when thegoing gets tough.

Your failures can discourage you, or maybe your current level ofcompetency in a field can discourage you, or what you lack nowin a particular area of your life can discourage you.

The solution is to become “discouragement-bounce-backer.”Make it a point that whenever you are discouraged you may takea short respite if you want, but you would never quit; That youwill never become a prey, like the 95% of people, to yourdiscouragements.

The only solution to discouragement is to become deaf andbecome numb to it. Successful people are never carried away bytheir discouragements. They will get hurt by them, but they cannever be stopped. You become like them, not some day, but fromtoday.

Yes, like I said before, you are every bit as good as them and haveas much potential as they do. Never belittle yourself.

People have thin walls against discouragements. Make yoursthicker and stronger so that no discouragement can persuade youto loosen your grip on any of your goals or tasks or any otherpurposeful endeavors.

Principle 3“A goal is a dream with a deadline.”

- Napoleon Hill

Now, this is a very important one. But before sharing this, I amsure most you have heard about goals and dreams.

Many people, as they are saturated by these concepts, see theseas everyday things or pretty less effective tools. They are not.Chances are those who think this way haven’t applied them tosuch a great degree as to reap the real rewards of achieving time-oriented goals.

Some say that when they have goals, they feel like living amechanical life. They explain their point by saying why not livelife “naturally.” Why not just smell the roses on the way and tastethe things in life! Who said having goals will not allow you to dothese?

Now, let me break a myth:

1. When you set goals, you are also going to set time for “leisure”activities, daily! You are not sacrificing your relaxation and otherenjoyments, rather you are scheduling them to a proper time.

It’s not that people who have goals and achieve big things don’twatch movies, play games, go shopping, have a nice time withfriends, or take a vacation, etc. They do (And some don’t I agree;)

Okay let me ask you a question?

Don’t you want to succeed? Many want to and for all of us “themoney” department is the most important area to set goals.

That means your number one goal must always be (unless youare financially independent and don’t have to work to earnmoney) to get sufficient money for you and your family. Now andin the long run.

Now, where do you get the money? You earn it from yourprofession or in your field.

That means, increasing your income in your field must be yournumber one goal this month.

To do this, you must have a thriving business or you must be verygood at what you do. Period.

Experts are always paid well. If someone is not earning much,then he or she must start the journey to become an expert in thatfield (People complain that they don’t get enough. Market placealways pays you according to your expertise).

Now, here’s the catch:

To do this you must utilize your current time very well.This is where goal-setting come into play. Without goalsand the process of setting goals and achieving them, youwill never have that sense of urgency, you will neverhave that discipline, you will never take action and youwill always be distracted and tempted to do motley ofthings.

Because time is limited, you can’t afford to take chances. Youmust do only those high-return activities based on your goals,every day.

But when you set goals and have become financiallyindependent, then you can change your number one priorityfrom money to health or spirituality or anything you wish tohave.

Time is involved and we all have limited time. We are notzombies or vampires dear friend.

The good news is that when you set goals, and really take actionon the plans that you have formulated to realize your goals, youwill see tremendous progress, mark my words...tremendousprogress.

But you must stick to your goals and take action regularly onyour plans. If a plan doesn’t work, change it. Plans are alwaysthere to be changed until they become excellent and start toproduce desired results.

Thomas Alva Edison’s incandescent lamp is a classic example ofthis.

Any goal program is good as long as it asks you to take action onyour plans eventually. Many people only have dreams. Somepeople have goals. A few have plans to make those goals a reality.A still a very small percentage, very small indeed, work and sweaton those plans day in and day out. Be the last one. Always set adeadline.

Only three things can happen with achieving your goals:

1. You will either miss the mark, Just change it to a near future oras per your feedback or knowledge you get from your experiencein order to attain your goal.

2. You will achieve your goal much sooner than you have set thedeadline.

3. You will achieve your goal exactly on the same date.

Simple goal-setting process is much better than a complex one.In my opinion, it is always better to have two major goals at atime than to have ten or fifteen goals in various areas of life.

I think that can affect the quality of your main goal when youhave a lot of goals and dream at a time. I would kindlyrecommend that you have “money” (and so, your profession) asyour number one goal, if you are not financially independent yet.

Principle 4The best way out is always through.

– Robert Frost

Yes, Robert Frost said it very well. You can hide from your fears.You can, and that’s your choice. But, along with your choicecomes the equivalent results (rewards or lack of them).

If you choose to avoid things out of fear or our of lack ofconfidence or by saying that you haven’t done it before, what youare doing is that you are avoiding exposing yourself to manymore chances and choices in your life.

The more you face and get through, the more you grow dearfriend.

The more you avoid and escape from, the more your growth willbe curbed.

Growth equals how many things you face daringly and getthrough. Try more, face more and grow more.

This cannot happen when you shy away from your challenges,from your fears, etc. You must be ready to get through anychallenge, any damn kind on this planet, even if that can hurtyou, even if that can embarrass and humiliate you, even when areyou are stretched and go out of your comfort zone.

This is the mindset (one of many attitudes of successful people)that I was sharing with you at the outset. When you have a strongmind and an attitude like this, would you sit in a place andexpect things to turn out as if by magic?

No. You won’t. Since you will feel like a no-limit person (and youare), you will start trying many things. You will visit places to getthat chance. You will enroll in that class right away regardless ofyour age, you will phone that person and ask out, your will meetwith that client or customer as immediately as possible, etc.

So, the best way is “through.” Never, ever runaway from yourfears. Face them and feel them. For a time being it will hurt you.But you will become stronger and you fears must become weaker.That is the unwritten cardinal rule of success dear friend.

They say that many biggest dreams and dreamers are to be foundin graveyards. Why? People didn’t have the guts to face theirfears and follow their passion. Or at least overcome theirchallenges.

Principle 5We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore,

is not an act but a habit.

– Aristotle

This again is the very basic of success. Success is nothing butdeciding what you are going to do from now onwards...and also,what you are not going to from now onwards as well.

Like I said in the beginning, your success depends on what youdo and keep doing.

And what you don’t do from a certain point.

Which means that start doing certain good things and you alsostop doing certain things that hold you back.

Normally you cultivate powerful habits (that of the successfulpeople in order to produce results like them). And you get rid ofbad habits (that of people who suffer from these habits andproduce not-so-nice results) of yours that hurt you and arekeeping you as a slave.

Everything boils down to HABITS.

What you do, what you think, how you look at your obstacles,how bravely you confront your hurdles, how you think to comeup with a creative answer to your issues, etc. all these are partand parcel of your everyday life.

Many time we don’t realize that we aren’t doing what we ought todo. I know what you are thinking now. You may be confusedabout how to select your daily habits. Right?

Now that you want to start certain things and stop certain things.

As far as the good habits are concerned just start on the plansand action steps you take daily toward attaining your goals asyour daily habits. Do take these action steps consistently. Youdon’t have to have 100 different good habits. That will scatteryour focus. Focus only on your main goals and let your habits be

formed based on your main, current goals, made up of only thoseactivities related to your primary goals.

As far as the bad habits are concerned, I would say getting rid ofhabits that hurt your health (emotional, mental and physical) thebaddest at first.

It could be shyness. Or it could be smoking or drinking (and youmay be already affected by it to a great degree and can’t afford toallow this any more, the red lights are on!). Or it could beeliminating the habit of procrastination or eliminating the habitof finding fault many times a day wherever you go with whoeveryou are with. It could be being sad or negative to an incrediblelevel. It could be over-eating or not eating on time. It could betalking too much and as a result, having a low level of focus ontasks you do.

Or it could be your habit to try something for a brief time andbecome bored about it, although you see that it can improve yourlife drastically and all you have to do is to keep doing it for a longtime.

It could also be spending less time in gym.

Have your goal-related action steps as your primary habits.Other habits could be good habits for your body like eating acouple of apples a day. Or eating good, healthy food. It could bestarting to do power walk for about twenty five minutes. It couldbe making plans related to your goals and thereby working yourcreative muscles to develop them.

Or you can also become less sensitive and very well insulatedagainst the negativity from people around you. You becomeemotionally strong. It could also be learning some new skillstoward the attainment of your goals.

Making a big list of habits will confuse you and will take youaway from your goal-attainment path, let me warn you. Just dothe goal-related habits and uproot the “critical-level, red light,emergency, urgent” bad habits.

With a small list of do’s and dont’s for your daily life, yoursuccess, whatever it is, will reach you many times faster than youcan expect it. You just need to start immediately.

What you just saw is the power of habits and power of focus byelimination of bad habits. Maybe by eliminating a bad habit youbecome more energetic physically, and some elimination canmake you mentally super fit, and getting rid of other habits canget you more time! You can use that for your plans and theirexecution.

By doing “only” your goal-related things, you soon becomeexcellent in that area. Maybe in your profession. That can pavethe way for riches in the department of money in your life.

Don’t waste you life or time on doing things that will never takeyou toward your goal. Many of them will take you away fromyour goals or slow down your success. That’s why elimination isas important as addition. Without resistance you move aheadvery fast. Elimination of bad habits destroys the resistance toyour success.
