Zero DepthEntry Play AreaThe zero depth entry play area is a 3,986 sq.foot area that is loaded with wonderful play fea-tures for kids of all ages. A Tropical Fish KiddieSlide, a Multi Play System V, a dozen floor gey-sers, an interactive water table, and a set ofwater dump buckets greet you as you enter theAquatic Center. The depth of the water in thisarea ranges from 0” in the entry area to 3’ at itsdeepest end.

Diving AreaA three meter and one meter diving board as well as a 12’Aquaclimb Climbing Wall challenge you as you enter the div-ing area. This area is a 1,560 sq. foot area that ranges indepth from 5’ to 12’. This area of the pool is open to adultsand children who have passed level 2 swimming lessons.

Plunge AreaThis area acts as the drop site for two 31’5” high slides. Thefirst slide is a 42” Open Body Flume Slide that is 214’9” longwith the second slide being a 32” Enclosed Body Flume Slidethat is 143’4” long. Participants must be at least 48” tall to godown the slides by themselves or they must be accompaniedby an adult. This area is 860 sq. feet and has a depth of 3’6”.

Swimming & Lap Swim AreaThe 25 yard swimming area is a 3,292 sq. foot area with waterdepth ranging from 3’6” to 5’. This area of the pool is open toadults and children who have passed level 2 swimming lessons.Non-swimming children or children who do not meet thisrequirement must be in direct contact (within arms reach) withan adult or person/supervisor 15 years of age or older. This per-son/supervisor must be in the water with the child.

Lily Pad AreaThe Lily Pad Walk is housed in a 355 sq. foot areawith the water depth ranging from 3’6”-4’0”. Thefoam floatables which are anchored to the base ofthe pool serve as a movable challenge for the partic-ipants. Participants must be tall enough to reach thetop cargo net so they can make it to the oppositeside.

Youth Ride PassesCommunity Transit of Western Community Action is againoffering a $30 unlimited monthly ride coupon for studentsup to 18 years old during the months of June, July and August.These coupons can be purchased through the WesternCommunity Action office in Marshall. Just $30 per month, per

student provides the peace of mind that kids arrive safely at all their summer activities,and relieves some of the stress of keeping up with busy summer schedules. Ride couponsare good for students to ride as often as they want during the month on all CommunityTransit busses. PERSONAL TRAINER - POLLY BOWENPolly Bowen, RACC’s personal trainer, is available to help our members andnon-members reach their fitness goals, have a productive and time-efficientworkout, and feel comfortable working out in the Fitness Center. Polly will workone-on-one with clients. Every session will be at the convenience of both clientand Polly. Polly has the proper credentials and is an avid exerciser. A session is$20 per hour and you must go a minimum of two sessions. If you would likemore information regarding this, please call us at 644-2333.

Indoor Golfing/Batting CageNeed a great off-season workout? No more hitting foam golfballs into a net or taking soft toss with a whiffle ball. Try out theIndoor Golfing/Batting Cage. The cage is a 70' long x 14' high x 12'double wide cage that can be used for live batting for baseballand softball players as well as live hitting for golfers. Participantsare asked to bring their own golf clubs and balls as well as bats,balls, and helmets for live hitting. The cage can be used by 2 sep-arate groups at one time as it is a double cage. The cage is locat-ed on the south side of Fieldhouse Court #3. Call ahead andreserve the court today!

Pool PartiesPool parties may be scheduled Monday through Sunday

in 1½ hour increments (availability depends on date, time, andstaff). The fee is $125.00, plus $3.00 per person. Pool staff are notresponsible for children outside of the Aquatic Center. We requirea responsible adult to be present throughout the pool party to helpmonitor the participants and see that guests get home safely.

Private LessonsFee: $18.00 for each half hour sessionSwimmers are encouraged to participate in regularly

scheduled group lessons. Private lessons are available at the poolif you meet one of the following criteria: 1) certified instructor’srecommendation; 2) special adaptations which need to be docu-mented. Final decisions regarding this will be made at the discre-tion of the pool manager.

Dive Into Summer Funwith Swim Team!

Work with experienced coaches to improve your strokes and learn newskills at your own pace. No Girl Scout experience required. Girls mustbe able to swim 25 yards. Teams practice 2-3 hours a week at the localpool. Meets usually occur once a week. Compete against girls in yourown age bracket. Girls will receive swim caps. Ribbons are earned atevery meet.

Anyone interested in knowing what level to register for, pleasecall the RACC. FOR ALL SESSIONS: Week 1 will be Monday-Thursday, with a make-upday on Friday; and Week 2 will be Monday-Thursday with a make-up day on Friday (seeinformation below for more details). Dean Wilson. Coach Wilson will be offering advanced gymnasticsclasses for girls and boys who wish to work on their gymnastics skillsduring the off season! Classes will be offered 3 days a week during thespecified sessions below.

The Redwood Area Basketball Association (RABA) provides a basketball program forboys and girls 4th-8th grade. December through March is considered “traveling season”for the Association. Participants will utilize skills developed in practice to compete in

weekend tournaments held in our area.

The Cardinal Youth Football program is back. Once again theCardinal Youth Tackle Football Program will be offered to boysand girls in the 5th and 6th Grade in the Fall 2013. Participantswill practice 2-3 nights a week and will play games onSaturday's as they will once again be in the Little 10 League.Fundamentals and developing an enjoyment of the game arethe keys to a successful season.

We will open up registration once again in August if rostersizes allow. Practices will begin Monday, August 19th. We willhost a brief kick-off meeting and uniform fitting prior to startingwith a date to be determined.
