GT ‘Wish List’The requirements are intended to describe the features and functionality of a suite of tools that
make up a large scale content capture, management and delivery system for Georgia
Tech. It is understood that a single tool may not
encompass all of the requirements listed, such systems under consideration must have an open
architecture such that the system may either integrate laterally with other systems.
We are looking for a few good classroom instruction capture tools.
Criteria– Highly scalable – low cost– Simple to use– Synchronous & asynchronous capture– Content downloadable for offline playback– Integrate with Campus AD/LDAP – CMS Integration (single sign on)
More Criteria
– Ability to upload with little intervention after the capture
– High-definition capture for future requirements– Variable bitrate options for student access -
dialup/DSL/LAN(10/100/1000)– Editing tools – simple to use please!– Support of Digital Rights Management– Windows, Macintosh, and Linux Support
