SCOTT THORNTON - BIOGRAPHY

Scott Thornton was born in London, Ontario in 1971. Although he has been involved in sports his entire life, hockey took over at a young age as his sport of choice. Drafted in 1989, he had the opportunity to play at the highest level for over 18 years with six NHL teams, as well as playing for Team Canada on 3 occasions.

He co-founded the CrossFit Indestri box based on the same values as Reebok’s, and designed the programs for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. Owning a CrossFit gym has been more rewarding than he ever imagined, and he has watched members progress in unimaginable ways: losing over 100lbs, getting their first pull-up, or deadlifting 500 lbs. These are accomplishments that can consistently be seen at Indestri.

As he gets further from his competition days, he now challenges himself to become the best coach for his athletes. Scott spends countless hours researching movements, workouts and programs, all with the intention of creating the best product for Indestri members. He knows from experience what it takes to train like a pro. He now wants to show his members how to do the same.
