Noncondensibles? Not an Issue!In the above transfer test, we introduced 32-ft3 of air to thecylinder being recovered. With the ambient temperatureover 100F, recovery only took an extra 1.5 minutes in spiteof the heavy contamination. LOVACs compressor worksagainst very high head pressures and the on-board directexpansion unit rapidly condenses and subcools recoveredrefrigerant to minimize the effects of noncondensibles.

Lovac is equipped with full 3/4 internal pipingand valving and a 2.0hp open drive compressorto quickly recover chiller refrigerant. The opendrive compressor is highly tolerant of noncon-densibles and makes the unit lighter and moretransportable.
