The Parish needs you and if you are approached and asked to come along, even if you have a bad voice, join in anyway, and make a difference in the music ministry. MUSICIANS. We also need musicians—people who can lead the singing with the instruments that you play. With your particular talent, the music will indeed soar to the rafters of our Church. But it all begins with you saying YES and coming along to play your part in music ministry. Please do so!! God Bless, Fr John Please help! Thank you to those who are booking in each week for Mass before they arrive. This alleviates stress for the Welcomers at the front door and help us start Mass on time as everyone can be seated quickly. It is a Government requirement that each person MUST book in for EVERY Mass as we no longer have regular bookings. This is YOUR responsibility. Before you come to Mass, please check your seats so that you know exactly where you need to sit. It is VERY important to sit in your correct seats, even if your favourite seats are empty. Unfortunately, there were many people at the 9am Mass who did not sit in their allocated seats. Please, for the sake of your fellow parishioners, sit only in YOUR seats. If you sit in other seats, you are then causing distress for the volunteers and for the people who have done the right thing and booked those seats. Please ask a Welcomer if you are unsure of where you need to sit. For those who have not booked in, seats will be available on the right- hand side of the altar. Please sit in these seats only. It is regrettable that there are so many regulations. If we all play our part, then together we can make this process as smooth as possible. If you require help booking in, please ask the Parish office staff. Thank you for your patience and respect for the regulations. Prayer for our Beautiful Mothers

Mary, Mother of Jesus, we ask you on this Mother’s Day to pray for our own very special mothers. May your Son, Jesus, reward them for all the care they have so lovingly given us over the years. May He give them peace of heart for all the times they have soothed us in times of trouble or failure. May Jesus give them joy of spirit for all the times they have healed our wounds and wiped away our tears. We ask you, Mary, on this day when we honour and praise our mothers for their unconditional love and care, That Jesus may bestow upon them His finest blessings and His deepest love.

AMEN

Cancelling a booking at Mass

One of the questions we now get is I want to cancel my booking next week, how do I do it? Here are the steps,

If you don’t have email, call us

Have a look at your emails and find the email that came to you, with the tickets attached.

The email has a part after the Booking ID, that says no longer attending?...... Then it says click here to return your tickets. Click on the words click here

It will then show you a screen that has all the tickets listed

Choose the ones you don’t want, ( it chooses them all by default)

Then click on the process return button. Cancelled.

Archdiocesan Clergy Retreat and Reflection Day Archbishop Coleridge has called all clergy to gather next Friday 14th May for a Day of Retreat and Reflection at Banyo Seminary. It commences at 9:30 am and will conclude around 3:00pm that afternoon. It is an opportunity for the priests and Deacons and, no doubt, the Seminarians to get together for some time of prayerful reflection. But it is also an opportunity to get together for mutual support sharing this time together in the midst of the busy-ness of ministry. It is an event that is arranged each year and it is a good opportunity to meet up as pastoral leaders in oiur various fields, and endeavour to support one another in our very different ministries across the Archdiocese. I hope once again that it will be time away, but time well spent for all involved.
