Section Programs

• Four Sections have PCO Chairs Albuquerque, Holloman, Houston, Southwest Texas

• Reports received from two Sections Albuquerque, Southwest Texas

• Large programs: Houston’s Mars Rover Model Celebration

– 450 children, 26 schools, ~140 volunteers Space Education Days – Holloman

– 1600 Children BEST Robotics Support – Holloman, Southwest Texas

• Most Programs are small involvements with larger programs run by partners Need mechanisms for mobilizing folks into AIAA branded programs

• Need to encourage more communication to entire membership of a section People focus on their own neighborhood, don’t think about serving entire region Little use of Section, AIAA media

• Biggest gap: providing Section support to our EA members
