LEGISLATIVE SUPPORT FOR RES SINCE 2024. POSITIONS AND PROSPECTS


The purpose of the Round Table is to give an opportunity for all participants involved in the discussion of the need for support of RES after 2024 to express their views and attitudes. The state supports renewable energy in order to develop a new branch of industry and energy sector, to receive appropriate dividends in the form of tax and other revenues. The arguments of the proponents of extending renewable energy support

after 2024 are cogent, since their main pivot point is a stable development as wind energy is becoming a driver of many benefits for the Russian economy, and the cumulative long-term positive effect of extending the RES support program amounting to about 7 trillion rubles, and tax revenues amounting to about 1.5 trillion rubles. This makes a strong case for the issue.
