There wasn’t a resource that comprehensively sorted out the best of the best.” From its humble beginnings of a collection of personal notes, today Travelshopa is the curated guide to the best local shopping around the world. It has become a trusted platform that guides, informs, educates and inspires both industry and consumer audiences through Asia, the Americas and most recently Australia. Travelshopa has secured regional partnerships with the likes of MasterCard, PayPal and Les Clefs d’Or. It has also been named in Singapore Business Review’s annual list of Singapore’s Hottest Startups and shortlisted in Unleashed Awards’ Best Startup SEA. Renee has been recognised as a Finalist in the Singapore Mumpreneur awards and her journey has been documented in interviews with, BBC News, Sky News Business and Harpers Bazaar. A graduate of Masters of Business Administration in strategy and marketing from the University of Technology of Sydney, Renee is a confident speaker and commentator on entrepreneurship and digital marketing. When she isn’t working on Travelshopa, Renee is devoted to her two young children, regular yoga practice and charitable causes. She created the Hera Foundation, after losing her mother at a young age and wanting to support other motherless daughters.
