� ENSURE THAT THE ACTIVBOARD IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE MAINS POWER
Remove the USB and PSU connections from the bottom right hand side of the ActivBoard as shown opposite

Promethean Recommendation: e following procedures are to be carried out by a competent person on an ActivBoard that has been removed from the system
Tools Needed: No � Pozi Screwdriver
ATTENTION
Observe precautions for handling ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE SENSITIVE DEVICES.
� Remove the screws from the rear cover located on the top right hand side of the ActivBoard as shown opposite
N.B. One of the screws may be shorter in length when compared to the other screws and this MUST be refi tted into the same original location
Hint: Place the screws with the cover so that you know where they came from

� Remove the cover to reveal the Touch and Pen Electronics as shown opposite
Hint: Take a photo or label the connections so that you know where everything goes!
� Removing the Touch PCA consists of disconnecting the DC Power cable, removing x screws (fi g�), disconnecting the small ribbon cable (fi g� – Prior to doing this, double check that the Activboard is not connected to the mains or via USB) and � x large ribbon cables (fi g)
N.B. One of the screws may be silver coloured and must be refi tted into the same original location
Take care whilst disconnecting the ribbon cables, it is recommended to place your thumb on top of the black plastic connector and your index fi nger behind the ribbon cable – do not disconnect by just pulling the ribbon cable.
N.B. e grey plastic mount needs to be retained for fi tting the replacement Touch PCA
Fitting of the replacement Touch PCA is simply the reversal of the steps above
ATTENTION
When reassembled it is important that all connectors are pushed fully home
If replacing either the Pen or Touch PCA, the pen and touch will need recalibrating
