Report of L & T Baroda one Day Industrial Visit cum Training

3rd Oct 2015

Department of Electrical Engineering have organized one day L&T Switchgear Training centre visit on 1st October 2015. Total 28 persons (25 students+ 3 faculty) have attended the same. The training center team of L & T –STC was very good and students have learned many new concepts from them.

Details for one day Session as under:

(1) 10:30am to 11:30am - Welcome speech

(2) 11:30am to 11:45am - Morning Tea break

(3) 11:45am to 1:15pm - Introductory & Basics about Indian Electrical Power System, Basics about switchgear By Senior Engineer Jaydip Patel.

(4) 1:30 pm to 2:00pm - Lunch Break

(5) 2:00pm to 3:30pm – Switchgear Factory visit & Actual Demonstration of switchgear product at Switchgear Training Centre-Vadodara

(6)3:30pm to 3:40pm - Evening refreshment tea

(7) Closing- Questionnaires and open discussion by Senior Engineer Jaydip Patel.

We received a very good feedback for this value aided program from participants as this program is intended to give practical feel to students regarding low voltage switchgear products. At last, company also gave us their various training and internship calendar so, that interested students and faculty may attend such kind of program in future also.
