Guest Speaker Doug Jones This Weekend!
For many of us, it’s the acquisition of faith that we struggle with. Have you
ever longed to have more faith, but didn’t know how to get it? Have you ever
wanted to live by faith in everyday life? This month-long series goes after the
answers to these questions and teaches us about the many aspects of faith.
Through creative elements such as amazing videos, dramas, and props, you’ll
walk away with a firm understanding of what faith is. Believe your faith can
grown and learn how with God!

senior pastor. He has also served for nine years as the coordinator of
Kenneth Hagin Ministries’ Healing School located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He is currently an instructor at Rhema Bible Training Center, teaching

Our mid-week service has taken off with expressive growth!
Through studies that provoke thought, allow for discussion
and provide opportunities for questions of Pastor Ron, people
are learning how to love God through obedience, keeping it simple, staying away from double-mindedness and
having a singleness of heart. These teachings are designed to grow your roots deep with Christ. Take the Word
home with memory verses, and study notes. You can even get a recap on the website. Bring a friend and pursue
God in a deeper way Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm. There are even classes for your kids!
PursuePursuePursuePursue————Building Leaders; Changing LivesBuilding Leaders; Changing LivesBuilding Leaders; Changing LivesBuilding Leaders; Changing Lives. God instructs us to go out and
make disciples. Pursuing God through leadership skills is one way of doing that.
As we grow in our leadership skills, we can better serve the Lord through
biblical conduct, thoughts, and actions. The Pursue leadership training sessions
focus on how we can make an impact on the world around us. We celebrate
what God has done in the church over the last three months in each of the focus
areas. The next quarterly Pursue meeting will be on Wednesday, August 19 at 7:00 pm.

coming in June! Their vision is to love God, love people, and live worship. They believe that by living their
worship unto God, they will represent a generation that is hungry to seek and find the face and heart of God.
The ORU worship team will be here ministering Wednesday, June 17 for our bi-monthly Vespers worship
service. Get ready to make the roof come down as we give honor, glory, and praise to our God! They will also
be here for all three of our weekend services, plus the youth service on Sunday night!

To make sure the praise doesn’t end on just one night, the ORU worship team will be playing for a benefit con-
cert here at Res Life to promote Muskegon Pregnancy Services. MPS is one of the local missions that we sup-
port. They have a tremendous heart for the Lord and the young people in our area. You don’t want to miss this
Michael W. Smith concert-style event on Thursday, June 18 at 7:00 pm right in our sanctuary!

Celebration WeekendsCelebration WeekendsCelebration WeekendsCelebration Weekends
We love to give God praise and Celebration Weekends are designed to do that and more. Through baptism, a mother and daughter renewed their relationship with Christ, a father baptized his children and we rejoiced as altogether 10 people made an outward expression of an inward transformation! People are changing on the inside for God and it is breathtaking to see. It makes you wanna jump and shout!
Dedicating their children to the Lord is also an important and valuable step here at Res Life. Seven families dedicated nine sweet children to the Lord as we promised to help raise them together as one big family in Christ. Parenting is a tremendous responsibility and we honor those parents!
The next Celebration Weekend is set for June 27 and 28. Communion will be served again and the baptismal tank will be warm and ready to go! If you would like to get baptized, call Lisa Mann at the church or email her at [email protected].
The personal growth resource for May and June is called, You Don’t Need a Title to be a Leader.... In this inspiring book, the author Mark Sanborn shows how each of us can be a leader in our daily lives and make a positive differ-ence, whatever our title or position.
Genuine leadership is not conferred by a title, or limited to the executive suite. Rather, it is shown through our every-day actions, and the way we influence the lives of those around us.
This resource has been chosen by the objective leaders and is available for purchase at the bookstore after all our weekend services for only $11.00. It is a great tool for use in ministry as a leader and in your everyday world.
Focus on Five
There are five focuses that we feel are impor-tant expressions of who we are as a church and where we are going. Through these five spotlights in ministry, we are setting goals, watching over the brutal facts, improving, and increasing as more and more opportunities to get involved are launched every quarter. The five classifications for expenses above are the five focuses. To find out what each focus is all about, check out the website!
