Stereotype photographer This photographer’s work

is focused on stereotypes within society. Eric Myer’s work is very interesting to look at because it is creative and different from normal portraits. When looking at this image it makes you think of the emotions behind the image of what the model is feeling. I like the idea of telling a story of the different stereotypes. Therefore I believe that this photographer would be a good idea to look further into as it will like well to the project I have chosen “story telling”.

Stereotype photographer This is another

photographer that photographs stereotypes. However this is done in a different way to the photographer above. In the photo to the left the model is holding a bit of paper saying what a stereotypical hippie is and then he as a hippie is showing that not all hippies are like that. I found this photographers work great to look at, I feel it tells a good story about the different

stereotypes and feel that this photographer could inspire my work when looking at story telling.

Anorexia photographer This photographer’s work

shows a lot of feelings and emotions behind the images as they are focused on a very serious issue (anorexia). These photographs are not very nice to look at because they are showing how the disease affects the body. However these images could raise awareness about the illness and help people to overcome it. Therefore I feel very strongly about this photographers work and feel that it could influence my work as I could tell a story about someone with anorexia or show someone’s recovery story.

Visual story telling photographer

This photographer tells a story of the visual world, just everyday life and the images tell a story. Fullana’s work is very simple but interesting because although it is simple the images show a lot of imagination and effort at the same time.

However I don’t feel that this photographers’ work was as interesting as other photographers that I have found.

Story telling of babies photographer

This photographer tells the story of pregnancy by taking photographs of the mother and her baby bump. I found this photographers work very interesting and if I knew someone who was pregnant at this point in time it would influence my work as I could think of a number of different ideas from this photographers work.

Fairytale photographer This photographer’s work

is very interesting to look at because she takes ordinary pictures of people/babies and makes it look as if they have come out of a fairytale book setting. This idea is very imaginative and has given me a few ideas of what I could do in my work to tell a fairytale story. I also feel that this photographer’s work links very well to the project of “story telling”.

I really liked this photographer’s work because emotions can be used to show a number of meanings and can create a very good story line. Therefore this photographer’s work would be very interesting to look further into to give me ideas for my own work on how to make emotions tell a story. I also like this photographers work because I like close up portraits, I think they tell a story by themselves.

Alice in Wonderland inspired photographer/ Alice in Waterland

This photographer’s work really amazed me as I think it is a very good idea and the photographs look amazing. It shows very good imagination and thought behind the whole idea and by having the scene created underwater it shows a whole different side to the story and creates a different atmosphere. This photographer has given me inspiration and I would really like to try to re create this in my own way if possible.

Life cycle of flowers/leaves photographer

I like this photographer’s work. I feel that it is simple but shows a very clear story of the life cycle of the leaves; it shows how nature is moving on over the period of time. This photographer has given me ideas to re create this idea in my own way to link it to my project of story telling. I also like this idea because of the colours in the image, as the leaves are getting older the colours are changing.

Alice in wonderland photographer

I really like this photographer’s work because of the tones within the image to the left I feel that it creates a certain spooky atmosphere the same as the film does. I also like the photographers work because of the way it re creates the scenes of the film and that Alice has be made in paper showing her big and then small is very effective and creative. This idea would link very well to my

project and it shows clear understanding of story telling.
