Ravens Cash Fantasy updatesEveryone likes a strong finish, which is why the Lottery amped up the Ravens Cash Fantasy game the past couple of months. We are always happy when we are able to reward you, the retailers, and we hope the recent retailer incentive helped push sales of the popular game. Winners continue to pour in from the Internet promotion, which still has exciting prizes remaining to be won – including $1 million! Keep promoting the game, and please remind players that they not only have to enter their extra yards online, they must select drawings to enter, too. Just tell them to go to mdlottery.com/ravens for a chance to be one of Maryland’s newest millionaires!

District Sales Representative Glenn Abbott enthusiastically promotes the Ravens Cash

Fantasy game using the side of his van!

In the Spotlight. . .Donnie Fitz, owner of Roxy Liquors, knows how to attract Lottery players. From the large area with plentiful seating for more comfortable Lottery play to the monthly in-store second-chance contests providing even more ways to win, it’s easy to see why Roxy Liquors is the location of choice for many Hagerstown area Lottery fans.

Donnie also devotes lots of attention and space to his display of Lottery scratch-offs and winner news. There are 48 instant ticket dispensers lining the wall, as well as copies of winning tickets, which have been sold at the store. In addition, Donnie has added a few scratch-off dispensers on the counter to feature new tickets.

Donnie’s proactive approach to Lottery sales even extends to the attire of his employees. Each worker wears a t-shirt with “Roxy’s Lottery Store” emblazoned on the back. All of this has helped Roxy Liquors, which has been open since 2006, land in the top three retailers in Washington County.

The store’s logo says it all: “Roxy’s Lottery Store…where the winners play.”
