The deep roof overhangs provides essential shade for all users of the building, as well as a continuity between the inside and outside of the building. The additional steel louvre shading protects the building against the strong sunshine and heat of the Spanish summers

The undulating internal bamboo roof is formed from a repetitive sequence of waves, supported by steel ribs. The free standing air conditioning units provide a low energy ventilation system located where passengers congregate
