July 21, 2019 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time LISTEN TO YOUR CHILDREN This summer, when your children are out of school and on different schedules, meeting new people and going to new places, make sure that you talk to them often about their experiences and the people they’ve met. Listen carefully to your children. If possible, observe and get to know the other children and adults who are part of your children’s summertime fun. Above all, communicate your safety concerns to your children. Make sure they know that they can come to you with any concerns they may have about the people they interact with. And if you hear of or observe behaviors that may be inappropriate, make sure to communicate your feelings to people who are in a position to intervene. Communication is key to creating and maintaining a safe environment all year round. OUR LADY OF FATIMA SCHOLARSHIP Our Lady of Fatima Scholarship Committee is seeking applicants for up to ten scholarships being offered to Parish members and their families. You must be a high school graduate of 2019 or an ongoing college student under the age of 25 planning on attending an accredited school of higher education this fall. You may only receive one scholarship one time only. For applications please email [email protected] Completed applications must be post marked by July 31, 2019 to be considered. Applications will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. If you attend St. Patrick’s, you are eligible. MASS WITH ANOINTING EVERY FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH Join Fr. Raju every 1st Friday of the month for physical, emotional or spiritual healing at 8:00AM at the Holy Angels Chapel for Mass and Anointing of the sick.
DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET Come to the Holy Angels Chapel and pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet every Friday at 3:00PM. Anyone is welcome to lead in the prayer. YOUTH GROUP All 8th-12th graders are invited to come to youth group this summer! We meet on Thursdays at 7:30PM in the Conference Room! Topics are: July 18th)-Charity; July 25th)-Forgiveness; August 1st)-Blessed Conchita and the Eucharist; August 8th)-Feast of the Assumption. If you have any questions, please call the parish office.
