Register/headcount to be taken before leaving school, on arrival at location, before leaving location and on return to school. Pupils to wear hi-vis jackets with school name and contact number on. Pupils made aware of expectations to stay with adult and what to do if separated from group. Accidents Medium First aider accompanying trip. Adequate first aid kit taken, including medication for individuals as required e.g. inhalers, epi-pens. Weather effects Low Pupils to have the appropriate attire for the weather and adults to ensure usage e.g. if hot: suncream, hat, bottle of water; if raining: raincoat; if cold: warm clothing, hats and gloves. Inappropriate content in the museum Low The inappropriate content is displayed in one corner of an exhibition – adults to lead their group through the museum in a way that will avoid them seeing the inappropriate content. Only one group at a time in the Storyboard Room to avoid over-crowding.
