Camp Roanoke Explorer (Rising 3rd-5th Grades)Want to create memories of a lifetime? Camp Roanoke’s Explorer program is geared towards campers entering grades 3 through 5, and provides a safe and fun residential experience for boys and girls in a pristine outdoor environment. Your days will be spent canoeing, hiking, rock wall climbing, playing field games, making arts and crafts, learning about the environment, shooting archery and many more exciting camp activities! Nightly events include; swimming, dancing, skit/talent performances, camp-fires, singing and star gazing. Pack your bags and the rest is on us (food, transportation and equipment). Sign-up as soon as possible as Explorer program is limited to 16 campers per one week session.

Camp Roanoke Voyager (Rising 5th-7th Grades)Looking for real summer adventure? Camp Roanoke’s Voyager program is an exciting co-ed residential experi-ence that engages children, entering grades 5 through 7, in activities ranging from canoeing to rock wall climbing, venturing onto our low and high challenge courses, mountain boarding, archery and even real rock climbing. The campers will also have time for arts and crafts, environmental education, creeking, hiking and horseback riding. Get your registrations in soon because the Voyager program is limited to only 16 campers per week. Tuition includes all meals, lodging, activities, equipment and transportation.

Camp Roanoke Adventure (Rising 7th-9th Grades)Are you ready for the best in summer excitement? Camp Roanoke’s Adventure program is designed to immerse campers, entering grades 7 through 9, into a total outdoor experience. Campers will initially be based at Camp Roanoke and embark upon new adventures daily! You will participate in a variety of activities to include: camping, rock climbing, kayaking, low and high course experience, mountain boarding, rock wall climbing, environmental education, traditional camp activities and more! Make sure to sign up quick because the Adventure program is limited to 12 campers. Remember your tuition includes all meals, lodging, equipment, activities and transportation.

Camp Roanoke Outpost (Rising 7th-11th Grades)New this summer! Camp Roanoke has added exciting activities for this high adventure program. Your child will enjoy activities such as backpacking, canoeing and rock climbing. Campers will also experience the climbing wall, the high and low ropes courses as well as outdoor skills and environmental education. All gear, food and transporta-tion are included in the fee. Registration is limited 10 campers.

Camp Roaoke Trek (Rising 8th-12th Grades)Join us on our trip to wild and wonderful West Virginia! Camp Roanoke’s Adventure Trek is an extreme experience not to be missed. Campers will begin their trip at Camp Roanoke going through the low and high challenge course as well as practicing to climb on our rock wall. They will then journey to West Virginia to experience tent style living, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking and environmental education in the beautiful New River Gorge. Space is limited to only 10 campers. Tuition includes all meals, camping fees, transportation and equipment.

Camp Roanoke Discovery Ages 5 - 11. Introduce your child to the outdoor camp experi-ence, without having to stay overnight! Discovery participants will enjoy activities such as archery (ages 7 and up), arts and crafts, field games, leadership development, rock wall climb-ing, hiking, creeking, special events, a weekly field trip and much more! Included in the costs are a morning and afternoon snack, a delicious hot lunch and field trip fees. Free satellite transportation is available from Tanglewood Mall.


K-5th 9am-4pm June 13-Aug 12 M-F $175/week $200/week. Kids in CampAges 5 - 11. Rising 1st to 5th graders will enjoy fantastic daily activities, including arts & crafts, cooking, games, swimming, daily field trips and much more. All field trips, activities and two daily snacks are included in weekly fee. Campers must bring a bag lunch. Energetic, experienced staff will lead chil-dren in a summer of F-U-N! Green Ridge Summer Day CampAges 5 - 11. Need something fun for your kid this summer? Rising 1st to 5th graders will love our daily activities, includ-ing arts & crafts, cooking, games, trips, swimming, and much more each week. All activities and two daily snacks are in-cluded in weekly fee. Campers must bring a bag lunch, swim-suit, and towel for fun in the indoor pool. A $25 deposit per child per week due at registration; remaining balance will be scheduled payments with a credit card. All deposits are non-refundable. Ten weeks to choose from. Summer Fun Little Dippers Aquatic CampAges 3 - 5. This is the opportunity for our young pre-school children to experience water safety and swim-ming skills through a series of fun and interactive ac-tivities. Children will have a group swimming lesson, crafts, water safety lesson, and exploratory play in a structured environment led by certified Water Safety Instructors. Children must be potty-trained to partici-pate. Fee: $62 for 5-day program and $52 for 4-day.

Bob’s Construction ZoneAges 3 - 5. Can we build it? Yes we can! Learn about construction trucks and tools this week. Pirate AdventureAges 3 - 5. Ahoy mates! Join us this week for some pirate fun! Dress up like a pirate, make treasure chests, and dig in the sand for buried treasure. Enjoy outdoor water play. make swords, and create and race your own pirate ship. Every child receives a pirate hat to take home. Fee: $75.

Super Soakers CampAges 6 - 12. Get ready to experience WATER! Par-ticipants will be transported to different areas in Roa-noke and New River Valley to become exposed to different types of aquatic environments. Trips may in-clude Smith Mountain lake, New River, and of course SPLASH VALLEY! Activities will include swimming, tubing, snorkeling, and water safety. Building Blocks CampAges 5 - 9. Build something cool this summer! Work on several Lego projects this week using kits and imagina-tion to create Lego Masterpieces! Take home a CD of memories & Lego memorabilia. Fee: $85.



Building Blocks Camp for TweensAges 9 - 12. Watch your Legos come to life! Thursday, they will head to W.E. Skelton 4-H Center to use the Lego Robotics Lab. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch and meets from 8am-4pm. Fee includes transporta-tion to and from the 4-H Center, staff and Lego Robotics Lab use and instruction. Fee: $125.

Just for Girls CampAges 9-12. Calling all girls! Come spend the week creat-ing jewelry, making crafts, doing face painting, making a hand sewn pillow, making edible food art, making natural body lotion and more. What fun! Fee: $70.



KidSign CampAges 9 - 13. Learn to use and practice sign language in this week long half day camp. Have fun as you learn signs through interesting games and sign language activi-ties. Archery CampAges 8 - 14. This program is designed to open the world of archery to children in a safe and fun environ-ment. The camps core content includes archery history, safety, technique, equipment, mental concentration, and self-improvement. All instructors are certified by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VDGIF) and have undergone a certification program referred to as BAI, ‘Basic Archery Instructor.’ The pro-gram is the perfect opportunity to open the world of archery to children. Please note that this program will focus on the skills of archery, not hunting. Fee: $75.




Cheer CampAges 6 - 12. Let your daughter have a blast discover-ing what cheerleading is really all about. Your daughter will spend the week with an area high school cheer-leading team to offer a four day cheerleading camp that will cover all aspects of cheering.
