Youth Confirmation As part of the Confirma on program: this is a reminder that confirma on candidates must par cipate regularly in Youth Ministry. Requirements for Confirma on of teens include regular a endance at Mass (provide a bulle n from the other parish if a ended elsewhere) and regular a endance at Youth Ministry on Wednesdays in the church. We have started taking a endance and your youth needs to be present in order to start the sacramental prepara on for Confirma on. T Y G T : Through your kindness, about 100 families received the foods to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving meal. It is true love to provide a meal for those who are hungry.
Don’t forget to drop off your treasures for the C B ’ T T T . Please put your dona ons inside the grey bin that is next to the St. Vincent de Paul clothing bin outside; take them to the back and stack them carefully. We regret that we do not accept electronics, furniture, or computers. We need people to volunteer to setup during the week, work the bazaar, and help cleanup.
Our Parish will be offering a B G star ng January 2017. More details to follow as to the me and day of week for our gatherings. Remember grief is not a disorder, a disease, or a sign of weakness. It is an emo onal, physical and spiritual necessity, the price we pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve. Please contact the Parish Office if you are interested in a ending our gatherings.
Do you have a few hours to spare in ? The church relies on volunteers to prepare for and follow-through with opera ons, events and community outreach. At this me, we are in need of volunteers; especially in the areas of environment (preparing the church for liturgies and services), office (general office help), facility (winter snow removal), and assis ng those in need. Divine Renova on Updates: Over the last few weeks started on the Divine Renova on through the Chris an Life Ini a ve Program. The speakers and sharers have been parishioners who have made a decision to be inten onal missionary disciples and spread the Good News. Please keep all our speakers, sharers and par cipants in your daily prayers. Renova on has started! Another aspect of Divine Renovation is gathering, whether in small groups or as an overall parish, such as takes place with the Night of Prayer. All are welcome for Holy Hour with Night Prayers that takes place at 6pm - 7:15pm on the first Saturday of every month. This most beautiful and solemn time is an open invitation for all parishioners to join in prayer, reflect on the Gospel and share in song / stories about God’s great work in our community. We are looking for musicians, AV techs, or those who want to learn more about Adora on. Are you interested in playing at the Coffeehouse, helping with sound and video equipment, or leading prayers and praise at the Night of Prayer? Let us know so we can include you in this ministry.
Bible Study con nues! We meet Wednesdays a er morning Mass. In Bible study we have completed First and Second Thessalonians. These books preceded in me all the other books of what eventually the Church iden fied as the New Testament. Paul instructs us that "It is God's will that you grow in holiness" (1 Thes 3); "All of us gazing on the Lord's glory with unveiled faces, are being transformed from glory to glory into his very image" (2 Cor 3:18); or as we recently heard at mass, we will come "to the full stature of Christ." Eph 4:13. We started the study of First and Second Timothy and Titus at the end of October and into November.

No degree or teaching experience is needed, just a willing heart and a passion for serving the Lord - English and Spanish speakers are needed.
